you’re talking about weapon sigils as if they’re not accessible to thieves. I didn’t see warriors dealing burning damage though, so I would ask which skill on a weapon or which trait is it that does it?
Also when talking about thieves doing condition damage – they have access to bleeds, poisons and vulnerability without using sigils. Necros have similar access (except that they also have chills and so), so then how come it is the thief that lacks conditions?
I never mentioned that thieves don’t have access to weapon sigils – I simply stated that because of Fast Hands, warriors can afford to only have weapon swap sigils on one weapon set.
Thieves can do something similar by having 2 of the same weapon set due to how their initiative system works, but they already have access to poison… and there isn’t a sigil which procs burning on weapon swap. (Sidenote: I actually think thieves should get a comparable condition build to warriors eventually – it’s kinda weird they’re one of the only professions without either bleed or burn on crit, for example, the only other being guardian)
At this point in time, warriors probably have better (damaging) condition access than any other profession except engi, but 1) it’s kinda pointless in PvE because zerkzerkzerk, and 2) it relies too heavily on melee range compared to other condition builds for PvP.
The leaked upcoming notes seem to suggest that condition warrior will be getting a major helping hand with that last part thanks to better cripple/immob access. We’ll see where it goes when that happens.
After reading all the post about class changes. I have came to a conclusion that the MMORPG community flames on classes that has stealth components. Be it wow,rift, Tera, etc. Why not make one? Lol
Half necros to compensate for the half guardians running around. Reduce boon meta and necro drops in importance.
And by half necros you likely mean zergs, because necro is absolute garbage for roaming.
Has nothing to do with the Guardians and everything to do with marks and wells being both powerful and able to be layered on top of one another to the point that an area becomes an instagib zone for anything not speced for pure deffense.
Dying because you got chain feared by 5 reapers marks in an AoE clusterkitten is only funny the first time it happens.
Step out of the wells and stop running melee trains.
Okay cool, I’ll just range attack my way through a choke point. That’ll work for sure.
After reading all the post about class changes. I have came to a conclusion that the MMORPG community flames on classes that has stealth components. Be it wow,rift, Tera, etc. Why not make one? Lol
If stealth had a proper counter, the flames would die down, I personally as a Engi and Ranger main do not even attempt WvW anymore because Thieves have such a free reign over the map, and i cannot literally do anything to slow, stop or take one down.
Why would i play in such an unbalanced environment?
i have just a big question to developers….
Don t you think one day, pve players will be tired of all this and leave?
The situation is already Beyond broken and getting worse any patch with USELESS buffs on weak classes and HUGE NERFS to the same.
We are tired fo LFG 2 warriors 2 guardians 1 thief…..
Do you think is a good idea to nerf D/D ele and ranger again?
Seems obvious that anything that can potentially kill a thief in WWW has to be nerfed to the ground that was why i quit WWW but those also affect PvE where
only 2 classes are playing the game….
If things get on like this i just hope that only PvP players will keep playing so they will see if pvp is so important to destroy balance in the rest of the game.
A PvE player is supposed to avoid a 1-2 second 1 shotting aoe.
A WWW player is considered uncapable of avoiding a 5,75 second aoe for half his health.

That is because Anet only cares about sPvP the rest of their game is ignored, especially in the balancing department..

Well doesn’t that show that people don’t like classes that they can’t see? Invisibility is a cheap mechanic and needs to disappear from games. Oh and also Tera doesn’t have a single class that can use invisibility.

Unofficial patch notes do state changes to engineers. Wait for tomorrow, read the official patch notes and then judge.

Stealth was perfectly fine in warcraft, (don`t know about the other tow mmos, not played them, yet..) because any damage/aoe etc could unstealth the rogues/druids & they had to blow a cd to restealth.
You`re only hope in this game is to swing a sword, swing a sword & swing a sword again ;p
Only complaint about them at times was their damage, but you could see them constantly when they were doing this.
This is just made worse by gw2 sodding awful combat mechanic, where you can hit someone, stand still next to each other for a year & still be in combat lolfail
