I just bought 1462 firefly cupcake, that was PAINFUL! please, make batch buying a thing for next events, or make that candy NOT have a confirmation box….. Thoughts if they should implement it?

Yes definitely but this might be better to put in the suggestions forum instead. It’s a pain to get obsidian shards or alcohol from karma vendors if you want more than a handful.

hahah, considering a omnoberry costs too much and i actually benefice from the stats too well, this cpcakes have to be bought in batches before they completely disappear! Who cares about health! Im a tree, if something gets sick i just grow another branch!

there is an achievement for consuming karma stuff?! I have been saving mine for my legendary, but if such achievement exists then im going for it!

-buying in extreme bulk is very risky for the buyer, especially when there are wide differences in price listings
-buying in extreme bulk could produce some disastrous mistakes (imagine a player inadvertently adding one 0 and buying 900 more items than he intended)

Except that when you buy cupcakes, they’re actually asking you to verify EVERY purchase. So if you have to verify the purchase, you can look at it, before you click yet.

And pretty much everyone who had a legendary has to buy 100 icy runestones. Every single person.

I don’t know many people going and buying 1 cupcake a time either.

Here’s a protip that I use for buying Icy Runestones (whenever you get prompts)

Drag the prompt box so that the confirm button is directly over the actual item.

This way all you have to do is double click. Rather than click to buy then move your cursor to click again.

Also (and I don’t consider this botting or exploiting macros)

There is software out there that can bind your left-click to your scroll wheel button.

Anet discourages multiple actions per stroke – i.e. left click and it does two actions at once.

But technically, the scroll wheel is 1 action per click on the scroll wheel. So you could raise your clicks-per-minute with a scroll wheel 10-fold.

There is an achievement to drink beer, you can get those by spending karma, or coin. The Achievement maximum is at 100000 points and the “best” Karma beer gives 4 points which means you have to buy 25000 (that’s 100 full stacks) of Beer – one by one, then DOUBLE click each one to get the points… that’s a total of 75000 clicks (25000 double clicks). Yeah good luck ruining your mouse with that :P

The only thing we can do now is to move the windows so the confirm button and buy button overlay on each other then you spam your mouse left button.

Oh yes please, that would be fab! As long as it’s easy and clear whether you are buying one of something or a whole bunch.

Yes please, I cringe when I need/want a stack or more of something from a vendor. Can I send the bill for a dead mouse that was clicked to death to ANET?

Yes please add the option to buy in bulk. One confirmation asking if you are sure you want to purchase 1000 of something is sooo much better than 1000*2 left mouse clicks.

Allowing batch buying should also help with server processing. There’s a big difference between 1000 requests and a single one. Likewise, it’s odd the trading post is also capped at a single stack, since it’s the same waste. Maybe they have a problem with dealing with multiple stacks / lack of space.

At the very least, there should be either a hotkey so that you can just hold enter to spam buy or add a option to disable confirmations for the current session with the vendor.

For now however, double click macro.

I don’t care either way but I am willing to bet within minutes of it going live someone would be posting here or in the account forum saying they accidentally bought 1,000 whatevers and want Anet to fix it for them.
