I’m not one for looking up spoilers on how to do jumping puzzles, however that being said. I look up where they are. I’ve encountered like 1 on my own. So I look up where they are and then find the way to finish it myself.

It’s huge and it looks great.
I had so much fun with my guild exploring these caves.
I even noticed it went further after the last chest but the skritt tunnel there didn’t work (yet).
I really hope we’ll get a part 2!
I found it by accident, then couldn’t for a while (fell splat), then found it again, then splatted so many times on the very first sticking out beams that I a) memorized the way to get to the start and b) got cranky and left game.
Which is more due to my not having had lunch and having not much time before I have to leave anyway. I am going to tackle the heck out of that JP once I have time and energy. A guild mate was commenting on reaching “milestones” and I will hopefully get a chance to understand what he meant.
Great puzzle. Great exploration to get to the puzzle. Great atmosphere. Great revive mechanic to get back to the puzzle quickly. I hope to see more challenging and environmental puzzles like this in the future.

speak for yourself. GW2 was advertised with jumping long before it’s release and a lot of people were happy about the ability to explore the world not only horizontally but also vertically.
I love jumping puzzles in GW2, they are all about exploring – a big part of the game.

So they have limited development time and resources, but somehow they manage to dedicate 50% of this to emulating Super Mario. Very sad, all this effort could be spent expanding the zone above ground, or god forbid adding a new zone.

So you want twice the fun for your desired content, but none for the lovers of other kind of content? That’s a bit selfish. The way i see it, you already had what you like in the first part. Second part is for players that enjoy a different thing than just killing stuff.
That said, the loot is a tonic to become the legendary thief skritt! I love it XD
I still need to find that jumping puzzle. And like always, I prefer not to rely on a portal from Mesmers to get the chest there.

How dare them to use resources on things some players (appearently not you) do enjoy.
Call the police. The developers try to fullfill demand and be diverse.
We cannot tolerate that.
Get a buldozer and make flat maps, we do not need some silly jumping. Asphalt the plains. The grove has to be cut down, we need a parking lot with elevators there, so people do not have to jump.
Next we get escalators….
Three or so, maybe even four hours is what took me to finish up the jp, and honestly, it was fun, the first time running it does seem endless, but getting to the end is one hell of an experience
Personally, the best part of this jp is the fact that there’s no enemies trying to kill you, thank you for that.

Horrible Jump Puzzle! It is truly the worst one in this game!
I’ve never been so lost during my game history, ever!
I’ve also never met so many people who asked for help, since they were also lost during this confusing underground-zone.
So big... underground.. so much sand.... I actually thought I were close to the hell realm, I just kept going down, deeper down... deeper... deeeepeeerrr...
And the chest reward was just completely useless crap!
So is this “Not So Secret” 2.0? If so, I’m looking forward to it!
Not nearly as horrible as “Not So Secret”. If you die it doesn’t force you to restart from the beginning. If you die you corpse doesn’t end up in completely random weird positions where nobody can find you.
Four hours for the first run (disconnected about 11 times>personal problem) and it was niiiiightmarish. I can say with confidence though, disconnecting does NOT force you to start over. The “Milestone” buff has a 24 hour duration and doesn’t go away if you log out. It only stacks when you trigger a flag you haven’t previously passed so you can keep track of how far you’ve gone and you can’t pass the first flag 9 times, then port to the end.
I will say, the thing that makes this particular puzzle horrible is actually the “puzzle” part, not the jumping part. Running with a group was really nice because it was actually a challenge to navigate (the way forward is often straight down, instead of the obvious but impossibly difficult path forward).
Once the mighty Dulfy gets a video up on her site though, it won’t be nearly as hard.
Pros:
easy-moderate jumps, with very little precision required
Milestone system helps you track your progress
Milestone system is forgiving for disconnection and needing to log out mid-puzzle
Mesmers cannot shortcut the entire puzzle (need 9 Milestone stacks to open the final chest)

no mobs to fight
challenge will greatly decrease with experience

Super fun, took me as long as the first time i did the 12key Orr (Malchor’s Leap) jp. Got lost a few times, worth it since i got the “Endless Mordrem Thrasher Tonic” from the chest.

This was a great new puzzle! Had a few hours of fun and got to run around with some random people to figure it out. Shout out to Doctor Whispers for being my unexpected JP partner.
I did think there should’ve been more jumps that required a bit more precision , BUT only if balanced with forgiving checkpoints. That being said, I didn’t fall off that many times so I’m not sure how many checkpoints there were to restart from. I also didn’t use the auto-res feature but that was a really considerate touch.
It was interesting to have more of a “puzzle” twist to this JP, and I can’t wait to have more JPs I guess I’ll also have to run through it again for the badges. Not sure how many I managed to pick up!

Well seeing as how the actual personal story missions in the patch take about 30 minutes, and the jumping puzzle takes about an hour or two, yeh i can agree with that.
Note that people are reporting that giving the skritt the Dowsing Rod currently doesn’t do anything. It’s unclear if this is intended or a bug, so you may want to hold onto it for a bit.

Someone said it causes the skritt to do a particular animation.
Also based on the dialog with the skritt at the end it doesn’t seem there was supposed to be any rewards. If anyone is going back there try to take some screenshots of the dialog?

My friends and I just spent the last 2+ hours in this puzzle and it was so much fun:D So thanks for all the hard work that was put into this explorers dream of a puzzle!

The whole cavern is so immense … i got completelly lost all the times xD
The 9th waypoint was so hard to find … i was at least 20-30 times back on that cursed cooking pot.
I guess JP developers must have some kind of diabolic skills
I found plenty of other players to figure out together the proper way but after a few seconds its was like: “Where the hell am I/ are you?”

Yeah its awesome and if you get DC you lose all your milestones this is genius i love it and the skritt take gold and do not port you to your last milestone because you lost them but takes the gold anyways uhhhhhhh shiny ….. this is so much fun xD
I haven’t completed it yet as I have been kind of casually exploring and trying the puzzle/maze, but I would just like to add that this area is incredible and the best zone yet. Every time I thought I’d seen how big the place was it got bigger!

Man, I’m glad I had some player guides (even though one of them lead us to the wrong ledge in the last part with the skritt holes, thank god the second guide was a mesmer) leading us through it. And they even did it at least a few more times before and after I ran with them, which god bless them for their patience/willingness to rerun this jp.
I am kinda really disappointed that I got no loot from the end chest though, after running that whole thing.
Who ever came up with this is evil. Those narror ledges are the worst part of this jp. Beginning isn’t that bad, but those ledges at the end…
(the brightness/bloom/whatever it is near the end doesn’t really help either)

There is an achievement, it gives you the endless skritt burglar(?) tonic. If you go to the part with the suspicious rubble (where you find the three key parts), you got to the end.

On second thought while that part is annoying regardless the setup does seem fitting as something skritts made. I can already imagine the response I would get from a skritt if I made that complaint to one.
