It is funny comical but it’s getting to point where sparkly stuff over used. As much as I like some things like Dreamer bow any more and it would feel like a different joke of a game. More practical skins etc…

What I would like is an outfit in a very similar Art Nouveau style to the Daydreamer’s Finery, but with leggings and flat (or flat-ish), thigh-high boots; instead of a skirt and heels.

Then it would still be feminine and organic looking, but the bottom half would be slightly sleeker and less impractical looking, especially for something like a Ranger.

Here’s something that I’d like to see obtainable through gemstore or maybe rewarded through the game itself:

More Armor set(s) pieces(no outfits, please)
-Especially more pants for cloth armor sets (without any bumflaps). Just ordinary pants!

-More different kind of hoods for cloth and other armor classes too. There are only few different kind of hoods that are pretty tight around the neck or those that replaces shoulder item slot when used. Could we have more hoods that are closer to Order of Whispers hood (without replacing shoulders) or the hood of Grenth?

I think the red fox is coming. The raccoon you can get if you get enough HoM points in GW1 (once they fix the current HoM issues). None of the HoM rewards should ever be gained without doing the GW1 requirements imo, and I say that as someone with only 3 HoM points and little likelihood of getting more since my chief helper in it has a new baby that is much more important as a use of her time

I like what a previous poster said, outfits themed to each new Elite spec reveal. Also outfits making use of the old tonic’d townclothes (preferably using some community feedback on good combos). And new armor sets, I’m drooling for actual mix and match, I’m in withdrawal on that.

Submit a ticket. It seems they flagged accounts to not allow credit card payments (likely by mistake). After a couple rounds with customer support someone eventually figured out how to clear it on mine.

Yes, people did.

I’d like to see custom Death animations eg exploding, turning into a swarm of rats/bats etc. As well as putting some one out with a taunting stomp you should be able to go with a bang (so to speak)

The community frustration makes sense to me. Even as someone with very little interest in this specific item.

What is the ‘point / goal / grind’ and in fact business model of Guild Wars 2?

To make your toons look fab-u-lous.

This is a fashion show MMO.

The business model is all about selling us pretty outfits and special looks.

The grind so many people get on in this game only ends in one result: fashion.

By level 80, you had hit the end of meaningful progression the moment you have exotic gear – which is often within 1 hour of hitting 80. Ascended only matters for a tiny fraction outside of Fractals, and in fractals only for the upper end of them…

So it all comes down to ‘make mah toonz look purdy’.

Even in games where ‘fashion’ is not the goal, it is something people will put down serious cash to achieve. There are people playing WoW who have spent hundreds of dollars to get a keycode to buy… a minipet of a dancing little fishman… (murky).

So…

It seems odd that the company behind this limits the choices, and removes popular items with no known path for them to return.

And it seems perfectly reasonable given this business model, for the customers to expect an answer.

More in fact, than we deserve an answer for game balance or new dungeons and zones. Those aren’t the goals of Guild Wars 2’s model. They are just window dressing. This game is built on a model of ‘the people standing in between the bank and lion trading house in DR.’
- Those are the people who pay ArenaNet’s salaries…

It would make me feel better, JustTrogdor. Any kind of—— acknowledgement would be nice, yeah. And I expect answers because it is something simple. She made a statement months ago about it and never followed up. I’d rather her tell me she’s still waiting on confirmation than ignoring the topic. It’s like someone saying they’ll be over in 15 min and you’re sitting there staring out the window waiting and they eventually show up 12 hours later without any sort of decency to say they’ll be late.

How about some sort of Uber Transformation Charge that allows you to one time apply an armor skin to armor of a different class- like putting a light armor chest skin, onto a medium armor chest piece.

Lol. That didn’t even cross my mind until you said it. It’s to be a cute little bunny Asura/Charr for me…Not every chick or guy in this game want’s to be a scantily dressed female human/norn. There is nothing revealing about any of the armors anets given us, nothing out of the ordinary. Skirts and Cleavage is only sexual if you make it that way. This is really off topic now.

For those asking for Belinda’s GS and Rox’s Quiver, you may want to log in! They’re in the gem store according to today’s blog news post.

i don’t normally complain, but once again (likely the 3rd or 4th time since its inception), i see rox’s quiver in the gem store, along with other things that have been rereleased numerous times…yet i feel completely neglected as i’m sure other people do, that Bunny ears, aviator glasses (and i’m sure there are a few more) have still not been re-released for a couple of years now. I’m disappointed that Gaile stated shortly before easter that we had hope (though she couldn’t confirm) that at least bunny ears might come out around easter. Why is the community continually ignored and other items we have not asked for in masses given to us instead? almost a slap in the face

Well the hair kit is also a gem store item, in that it rarely drops out of Black Lion Chests for which the easiest source of keys is spending gems. It can’t be guaranteed to drop, and it costs thousands of gold on the TP when the most I’ve ever had at a time was over 400 gold. So nope, I don’t see any “of course” about it

I don’t see them making it directly purchasable for any sane amount of gems, because there goes any point to temporary transmutation charges.

On the topic of cosmetic changing items, I think it would be rather nice if the hair kits included skin color and glow color options. You’d still need a total makeover for size/build/pattern/gender/face changes, but if you change your hair and its color it’d be nice to have complementary color options for the rest of you.

As for gemstore “THEME COMPLETION” we have a jack in the box sickle yet no toy themed Axe or Pick. People mentioned the Dreamer so give them a unicron finisher or something. The only theme in this entire game a person can really complete in all aspects from gathering tools, finishers, mini’s, weapons, armor and so forth is a Fire theme. Armor needs to come out of the Cash shop and added with new content as rewards but the cosmetic stuff needs to be completed. We got the made scientist stuff the other day and that was a complete harvesting set yet some early items like the Frost wasp are yet to be complete?

And yet again we have Belinda’s Sword, and Roxs Quiver in the gem store. Yet again Bunny Ears are missed. This is reeeallly getting old.
