Its soo ugly i see red, seriously anet why?? iam so kitten every shortbow looks lame and this was the only one i accualy liked and now you make it look like this?? Please bring back the old model the new one is horrible it makes me wanna poke my eyes out….

I actually like them both, lol. The first one fits the ‘corrupted’ theme better, in my opinion. The second one, however, looks neater and like something you can actually shoot. xD

I think the new one looks nicer tbh. Much more polished.

I definitely like the new one better, but it’s a pretty drastic change from the old one. I don’t know why they’d give someone all this time to let someone get a weapon they like (your bow) and then just change them out of nowhere like that to something they might necessarily not like. They should at least give the option to remake the old skin somewhere.

All-in-all I’m just glad they finally decided to give them unique inventory icons. It was a royal pain trying to find them in the midst of blue and green vendortrash!

Ok if you like the new one cool but i absolutely hate it and i get the bow for the old model so please atleast give me the option get the old skin. Also i think its pretty wierd changing something already owned by players this drasticaly….

Ill take your side Op as im an asuran and hate stuff that doesn’t have particle effects, because you can’t see it at all on asurans. It doesnt matter if the detail looks better, its small and people arent gonna see it when running by you, but they will see awesome particle effects which it looks like the new one has less of. I hope they didnt change my corrupted daggers..

I like the new icon, but honestly the look of the new shortbow itself is…terrible. Too small, doesn’t look “corrupted” or icy in the least bit.

I built the bow for the old skin. If I had known it was going to be “updated” without an option to keep the old skin…I wouldn’t have dropped ~35g on crafting it.

This is a silly comment. We are talking about a SKIN. How it looks is ALL that matters. The stats can be had from ANY exotic; the look…not so much.

The new skin looks like a wood bow with a blue texture, some linen wrap, and two small mist orbs on the ends. aka: awful

New one does not feel “corrupted”.

I farmed this bow for hours and now they change it to a shamans shortbow with frosty kitten on the end… why remove the ice and make it antlers? pretty cheap change anet.

The Corrupted Longbow = Old Corrupted Shortbow look. They kitten the Shortbow look and its not fair for the people who wasted 40-50 gold for it.

Even if you prefer the new shortbow skin to the old, they should have simply added another corrupted shortbow skin.

It’s not fair to people who bought one item and now have something else.
