Hello everybody, lately I’ve been trying to complete some achievements of the LS S2 and so far I couldn’t find the challenge mote on any of the instances I’ve done on chapter Echoes of the Past. I did already complete the S2 but not with the same character (soma chapters I ran with a different toon). My question is, do I need to complete the story with one character in full to enable the challenge mote to show up?

Also, I have completed some achievements though only one of them poped up right after completion, others did not yet and I’ve read around that I have to finish the chapter to get them completed, which makes no sense currently with this single one that was completed (Exposed Weakness). I wonder if there is a bug here or what, kinda confusing

Yes, you can only enable the challenge mote on repeats of the same character.

You also have to complete the entire chapter – unlocking the first achievement in the panel – and use that same character when going through (or go through the entire chapter first if you want to use another character).

The achievements were designed for goals to do when replaying. Unfortunately – intentional or not – this means that switching characters does not count.

As far as I know, for the Challenge Motes to appear, you must have first completed the episode and then replay that episode on the same character that has the episode completed (or any character that has completed the episode) – it is not an account-wide unlock for the motes to appear.

They will be small will-o-wisps that are either at the start of the instance, or just before the section that turns into the challenge mode.

I finished the chapter and that was already enough, though I had already did it before with the same character, I guess it was before the deployment of the challenge mote in the game, thank you nonetheless!
