Why do charge skills no stop on hitting an obstacle?
It behaves so that charges keep hitting an enemy if they are next to an obstacle, resulting in very big damage.
In effect, charge skills that hit opponents for their entire durations are the best damage skills in the game.
I don’t believe this is either immersive or working as intended!
Charge skills should hit a static enemy once, or multiples times only if the enemy is moving in the same direction as the charge.
Also they should be interrupted on hitting obstacles.
For example, I find it very silly in CoF1 that the first boss is just backed against the wall and charged to death by brainless warriors ..

That’s a very valid strategy… those skills do large amounts of damage only if they hit for their entire duration, which is not always the case.

I personally like how them work.

Karka roll. Get’s stuck on a rock.

But since that has a warning animation…

Veteran karka charge. Get’s stuck on a rock (grain of sand). 10k damage per second.

If the game was a little more realistic, charging into a wall wouldn’t be a strategy, because you would be stunned as you slammed your face into the wall.

I dont see why vet karkas cant cheese grate you into a wall. Wall should have decal’d damage from it though.

Because the hit detection in this game really isn’t that great. I’d imagine if this was implemented, there would be numerous problems of skills not working/getting stuck/stopping halfway like there already is with shadowsteps. It’s best to just leave it as is.

Then just make it so that this type of attacks can affect enemies only once per use (twice maybe)
