This is clearly an L2P issue.
Maybe look at your build and try to change it up a little (it may throw off the campers game). I hear Defiler or Corrupter have had some success at breaking camp spawns.
Clearly you are not elite, but with practice and patience maybe someday you you make it.
Finally I want to close with saying – we can’t all be Champions, but you can still play like one.

Wait, I’m confused. What part of the game is this post about: PvE, PvP or WvWvW?
Players can’t kill other player in PvE, so that’s out.
In PvP there’s a spawn where the enemies can’t enter → killing at spawn is impossible.
In WvWvW you can’t enter the enemie spawn either because of legendary defenders. Also the spawn has multiple exits, so camping them all requires quite the manpower.

And isn’t zerging single players or smaller groups a legitimate tactic? Why would A-Net do anything against that? And what does this have to do with camping corpses? Is there some secret way of standing up again after being defeatet that I don’t know about? Except of Revival-Orbs, which are way too expensive for repeated use.

To OP, that was very well done.

I blame the megaservers.

In the past, you could’ve easily chosen a low-pop server to respawn on and spend some quality time shuffling around mumbling about Zhaitan before being attacked by a lone hero. Nowadays, every available instance is swarming with players.

There have been lots of complaints from Veterans lately though yours is somewhat unusual. I suspect that your troubles are related to the old shrine nearby. Hordes of Foxfire Hunters pass through Pagga’s every day and, perhaps, consider you a threat. Or just a convenient loot bag.

I presume relocation is out of the question, but perhaps you could try to speak to your higher ups. If you could get elevated to Elite status, most casual passers-by would leave you in peace. Whatever you do, do not apply to become a Champion! They may be powerful in their own right, but no match to the zerg hunting them.

Dear colleague

You should choose a quiter place, preferably innacessible. From time to time there an attack but nothing too hard.

I invite you at the end of the Skipping Stones jumping puzzle. You might help me to kill all those cheater using invisibility to get my chest. Of course frome time to time a zerg come but that is part of the game.

Otherwise it is a very quite place and I often win.

Do you at least get a Volunteer buff prompt when you turn up in an empty map, or do they just kill the instance with you?

I feel your pain. I too have been a victim of said camping, but on this occasion it has sunk to new levels of depravity. There I was flying around minding my own business, when I saw a party of revelers having a good time, so naturally I decided to drop in and partake of the festivities.
No sooner had I arrived when things turned very nasty indeed and the revelers revealed their true nature and immediately started to attack me. Needless to say I tried, unsuccessfully to communicate my desire to join in the party by inviting a few friends and some party crystals, but to no avail, I eventually flew off in disgust.

I feel your pain. Though I do not have quite the same issue of instant spawn kill as you seem to have, my similar issue is less fatal yet extremely more embarrassing.

You see, I live very close to the Maw pre-event spawn point and I tend to get taunted every time Daily Dodger is active. The annoying characters run just close enough to me to force me to spit my chilling knockdown projectile at them. They dodge and can you believe it, they then just stand there. Sometimes others come into the area and they all stack up in one location and wait for me to spit again. Then to add insult to lack of injury…they dodge as a group.

The kicker is, after a few more taunting dodges I hear the sound of a bell and those ungrateful ‘kittens’ just run away, without even having the decency to kill me. Leaving me stand there to await my next humiliation. To be honest I wish I had the same issue of insta-death as you, because this deep-seated disgrace is bound to leave me with emotional scars for years to come.

Lol. This reminds me of back when the Scarlet invasions were ongoing. I remember being in a zerg fighting in Blazeridge Steppes. There was a time when the whole zerg ran through an Ogre village, fought an invasion, then stampeded back through it again.

As I was running through it I was imagining the Ogre’s point of view.

There they are, doing their daily routines and chores at home, when suddenly out of nowhere this HUGE group of fighters wearing armor and waving weapons, shouting slogans like “For Great Justice!” runs into their village. Everyone grabs weapons to defend themselves against the onslaught but then something weird happens. The invaders just run through and disappear. After a bewildered pause, everyone settles down and gets back to work. Suddenly the invaders appear again! And again they run through the village, waving weapons and shouting, throwing everyone into turmoil, run out the gates and disappear. Leaving all the Ogres to stand there scratching their heads and saying, “WTF just happened here?”

It has come to my attention that some of you feel as though we, the Management of the Risen team, have not taken your concerns into consideration where it regards the constant invasion of Heroes and the subsequently high rates of death enjoyed by our workers.

Let me assure you, the Veterans are important to our overall plan of success. Your misery may seem unending and pointless, but take heart in the knowledge that your suffering slows heroes along their path to us. Management appreciates your sacrifice.

I raised your concerns at the Cathedral meeting, and Management decided that instead of raises this year, we’re going to spend the budget on inserting Fun for Veterans that the Heroes won’t be expecting.

For instance, you can now randomly spawn multiple, persistent wells that cannot be blocked. You should now notice large groups of heroes writhing about on the ground before you. That’s always fun. Management believes in Fun. Fun is now mandatory.

Management has also provided training that will allow you to use Life Siphon on countless Heroes at an unlimited range, for an unlimited time. See? Fun. Management believes in Fun.

I the Champion Bandit Lieutenant feel all your pain, I mean… I was recently demoted to veteran status (and also changed my sex to female in kessex hills) because I can’t hold my own against a single filthy Charr named Meat Chop. If it was not them, it was the large bands of adventurers and that kitten queen’s loyalists! shudders at the thought of them coming Sometimes its not the large bands or a Charr, but a woman, a single Canthan Elementalist woman by the name of Yumiko who shouts at me and calls me “White Mantle Trash!”, I go, “Who’s white Mantle?” and then I’m burned to ashes before I can say my pre-determined lines. That is by far the worst death any bad guy can ever experience.

At least in hindsight no one comes to kill me anymore now that I am not a Champion— What? No… that voice! It can’t be…NO NOT HER!! “DIE WHITE MANTLE SCUM!” NOOOOOOO IT BURNS!

Yeah my life sucks.

For the longest time your colleagues over in the Straits of Devastation have been the bane of adventurers wishing to see the Temple of Balthazar and its New Orrian architecture. I am saddened to see that you might be suffering from the consequences of your colleagues’ zeal and am sure it is all a misunderstanding.

Should the problem persist, I recommend a champion’s supervision to further investigate the matter. I am sure Mr. Eye of Zaithan wouldn’t mind getting out of its crypt once in a while.

You have to try being a dragon someday. It is THE BEST. So many stupid adventurers just stand at your feet and die, over and over. I have died countless times from laughing at them.

And here’s the best part… when I die from laughter, they think they were the ones who killed me! Ahahahaha. I started dropping some generic loot boxes for them too, just to taunt ’em. Oh man, LOL, it is great being a dragon.

I’m glad I saw it before it was moved! It’s too hilarious. I’ve reported the OP to ask that it be moved back to where the humor can flow. The mods usually do a good job but I think someone just read the title and not the OP here.

It’s a hard life OP. I agree. Spawning, dying, respawning, dying again. Knitting exciting underwear. (You obviously aren’t used to having handsome knights around you). But I find your complaints worthless. This is supposed to be a happy game. Let’s not bicker and argue over who killed who.

In my opinion, this is a learn to play issue. Sure they remove your arms and legs. A true fighter sneers at these small setbacks and considers them just a scratch.

Can I get some tips from you, bro? I don’t understand how to dominate Frostgorge. Every time I fly down to show these little wannabe heros who is boss, they punt me right off a cliff into the freezing cold ocean.

I have tried more things than you can imagine. First, I try throwing all sorts of crystals with monsters at them, but they kill them so quickly I almost have a heart attack. Then they start coming at me. I try to fend them off with an ice wall and fear them to keep them at bay, so that I have some breathing room to sort out my abilities, but every time I think I have them dead, they just get back up and come at me again!

When my health is low, I use my cooldown to regenerate and run away a bit, so I have some time to recover, but these guys are relentless man. They just change course and come at me again, standing there and mocking me with their constant dying and rezzing each other. It’s like they’re playing a game, trying to see who can make me look more pathetic.

Then comes the end of it, when they punt me off the cliff just to rub salt in my wounds. I have wasted so much time on this crap trying to do Jormag’s bidding and he is getting really impatient with me.

Please, from one dragon to another – help?

Newbies, newbies everywhere. You are doing it wrong, OP! Standing in the same spot and spamming low level skills will never work for you. You need to get out of our starting areas and live an adventure!
I managed to get to the Bloodtide Coast and i did get some pretty nice skills like a wire that i can throw to multiple targets, a whirlwind of daggers from thiefs, a mesmer chaos shield and even ice elementalist multiple dagger scythe attacks! Oh man, this is getting really fun as I slaughter enemies one by one.
Yesterday i found three level 80 adventurers with full ascended gear that were just passing by my beach escorting a silvary. Do you know what happened? I killed them 3! at the same time!

Seriously, leave the starting area and learn how to use all the different weapon skills, you won’t regret it

Have you considered a career in WvW? It’s the best. You get to hang out in a comfy keep or camp all day, with amenities all around. Nobody ever comes to bother you, and if they do, you just raise your finger at them and they die instantly.

OP, Zhaitan offered you the title and the pay raise and you took it. But if the job is above your ability, give it up. There are bound be lots of Risen who would love to be bringing home that sort of paycheck and have that title. Let one of them have it.

If you can’t handle the level 80 area, maybe you should look for a job somewhere else. There are plenty of job openings for a low level yellow mob somewhere in the game. Ask for some secluded corner. Tell them your nerves are bad and you need some time to recover in a spot where no one goes. I know you are technically speaking already dead but if you don’t have your health then you have nothing. Don’t hang on to a job that’s killing you (again).

To the OP or any mobs that this may concern…

I am a passive dredge worker. And I can tell you being me is not a walk in the park. Sure they don’t bother me most of the time cause I do not get aggressive and attack them, But as time goes on, its gets boring and something inside of me grows… I think its my experience as a worker or something and these adventurers can somehow read how much of this experience I got in me and they kill me like all the other comrades. Then I respawn, and all my hard earned experience is gone as well as my bonus experience for working so hard and for so long for my superiors! Do you know how many hours I work in the mines with almost no breaks?! DO YOU? NO DIDN’T THINK SO!

Calms down, Ok I’m calm now…. but it is not good to be a passive mob, I mean, not ever.
