Now I have a (admittedly) vague memory that this was actually in game at beta but that it was taken out right before launch. I seem to remember posts in gw2guru with people complaining about it. It’s been close to 2 years now but that hairstyle is familiar.

Usually hairstyles are removed for clipping issues. I can see how that hair could cause problems on heavy armor.

It is an attractive hairstyle. Hope you get your wish.

Now whether those hairstyles actually clip in the game or not, I don’t know. None of my characters have them.

And with all the clipping issues in the game, I find the “it would clip” excuse to be a lie. (I don’t mind certain kind of clipping, especially with weapons or hair. Only type of clipping I mind is related to the body, such as the Medium Krytan armor that clips with Sylvari..)

Phalanx armor, bought with gems, clips heavily with itself, go figure…

I think it is so beautiful, would go really well with a traditional gothic style look or just something elegant.

I can see how it could have some clipping issues. But i don’t really see how this is a big issue, or why it would be for this hair. As the human female straight long hair, and the long wavy hair that is popular, both sit in the same areas. They too also currently clip with armor. I use the straight one on my ele, when it clips i find that it looks kinda tucked into the armor a bit, which i don’t really mind.

I think a bit of clipping isn’t enough to not have this hair, as it is a really good, fairly polished style.

To be fair, they seem satisfied with expanding the options in the existing makeover kits and the gems those items bring in. Maybe it can be added to the next round of hairstyles for humans.

Yeah I don’t know why it isn’t available. Maybe it has severe clipping issues? not that current hairs don’t.

Personally though I’m hoping for a no nonsense medium length ponytail or plait for humans. One that doesn’t clip horribly with masks.

I absolutely wanted that hairstyle for my first character when i saw that picture. Sadly it was not in game when i started playing in the beta. And i still want it even if it maybe has some clipping issues

hair and original gw2 mesmer dress that has been there for npcs only since release pls.

I think it was removed because it was low resolution or not up to some quality standard, and I think it was only ever on NPC’s from what I remember about it. But yeah, it would be nice to see it completed and put in as an option.

I don’t care about clipping hair. My long male hair clips with everything. I don’t want to change it to anything else either. Thanks for the new hairs.

I just want long pony tails for my female humans. PLEASE! Or the Asura pony tail exclusive haircut. Looks great.

I would also like to have this hair and the armor. Same with Countess Anise’s armor.

That male hairstyle in the OP’s picture already is in game. You don’t even need a make-over kit to get it. It’s literally in the list of default hairstyle options that you get during character creation.

I’d just be happy for more character creation choices for male models that look less feminine. Mainly hair and face options. We have few choices if we want to avoid a male character that looks like Beiber fresh from the salon. How about a few more choices for male characters that actually look like a man?

The hair and dress is fabulous! I want them and the dress has to be armor pieces and not an outfit.

Been wanting this armour and hairstyle ever since BETA. Sadly when I found out that none of the hair or the armour was released to us players.... I was so sad I actually took a break from GW2 around Halloween - Southcove update.
I have been god know how many times I’ve been posting this armor and hair in the forums.....
Reason why my main is a mesmer was because of this awesome looking lady human,

I’d spend the necessary gems on this hair style and the dress. Even if Anet released the dress as an outfit, still worth it.

The latest hairstyles don’t move! A ponytail that is stiff as a board no matter how much I whip my head around? How much hairspray does that require?

New hairstyles won’t incite me to buy a kit unless they flow realistically.

Course comparing it to the styles now it looks pretty low-res.. but would be nice to see a variant.

Don’t worry, lots of ppl has used my pictures in the past, especially when I was taking screenies of the NPC Noble human in Divinity’s Reach,
