Hi

I think that the skills or the route of this race needs to be changed. All the skills except for the 1 skill that is used in all races the “Search” skill. The second skill is uselles because “Threaten” does not give any speed boost but makes you full stop and does nothing to the enemy. And the third is “Crab Shell” is nice for 1 mob but because the skill time is so short (few seconds) and there are always more mobs around when the skill is needed. Or change the route this goes via vetran & champion mobs and also trough events area’s swamped with mobs.

threaten only works on the mobs specific to the race. the ones that are green to untransformed players

Anyway, for this race, it’s useful to have some guild members escort players, clearing mobs and using condi clears and such while the rest go through, and then swap roles.

The route in its current form was a decent challenge when it came out – on par with the Dredge/Spider one, and both guilds I’ve worked with have that one down reasonably well now.

What’s really ramped this particular race/rush’s difficulty was the addition of the ‘settlement invasion’ mechanic (tied to Karka Queen), which was part of LS1. That final settlement near the end tends to be invaded most of the time.

A possible quick fix would be to make an alternate route possible – maybe add a ledge around the settlement that you can scuttle on, or another (optional) hole to dive into? The latter would probably be easier.

We normally just clear it out for those that are unable to make it past the mobs.

Heh … that would be possible if only crabs can jump …
