If you listen npc talks in Zephyr Sanctum you notice that some of them speak about Kralkatorrik. Also these pictures of desert area may suggest that the Crystal Desert is really coming.

Lol those are some cool screenshots. Not sure that glitching into areas you shouldn’t be in constitute as “Content incoming!” but any new addition to the game is welcomed by me – especially returning GW1 aspects.

you just walk out of the map when you are down where the worms are…
just try it and you will find the way
a lot of fake rocks down there where you can just walk through

Use necromancer death shroud to jump down from anyweher :P That absorbs the falling damage.

Another clue about this could be the new Speedy Reader achievement in Ebonhawke. For those that don’t know, it includes references to marching south to meet a threat coming from Crystal Desert. That was several hundred years ago in-game and it could just be adding an achievement that was needed, but could also be pointing towards it.

I’ve been to the Crystal Deserts. Me and 3 of my followers snuck into it once -_- To most people, it is impossible, but for us Rangers, we can do anything.

Last time I checked Crystal Desert wasn’t in Elona but there is a gateway connecting the 2…

those are no mere wurms, those are Junundu wurms. Anyone from GW1 should recognize those beasts instantly!

So I wonder whether we will ride them like our ancestors did. and by ‘ride’ i mean get swallowed and control the thing (which has a laughable armor rating).

They will need to add animations for “Puke hairball” after transporting a charr and “Choke” after a norn. Maybe a “Spit Salad” for Sylvari too .

Also there’s another hint regarding the Crystal Desert: the teacher up near the top of the sky ship is teaching the kids about Glint.

C’mon Kralkatorrik! Come and destroy the Zephyr Sanctum!.

I hope we get a good area with cool dynamic events and many people gather together to complete them. Like in Orr, but a nicer place without getting nerfed.

Some people just like farming events with others.

This would be a great place for Anet to redeem themselves. It would make an excellent alternative to Orr. With appropriate reward and preferably without DR. I would love to be able to recapture the social dimension of the old cursed shore, just people hanging out, partying up, chatting, and playing. This would be a fantastic environment in which to play.

Crystal Desert…aww, I can Imagine the nomad camps already… and tombs with ancient draugrs… a mysterious group of bewitched wizzards who serve the dragon… lots of illusions… lots of dangers…

yeah i kinda noticed the sand wurms too when i fell all the way to the bottom of the new skyhammer pvp map.

Well, the Zephyrites are linked to Glint somehow. We know this through:

• little bits of dialogue
• the short story
• the song “Alas”

That would be awesome… I love the zephyr sanctum, but seeing it (or being on it) when falling to the ground will make it epic.

The threat were the charrs. And this achievement is in the game since release, it was just hidden, but you could complete.

Can they add new monsters? tired of kittening Wurms everywhere..

The recently released lore snippet (check GW2’s site home page) specifically states that the Zephyrites come from the Crystal Desert! Excited

I do hope that we’ll see Kralkatorrik soon. I’m tired of only knowing what his back looks like.

Here’s something I came across few months ago while exploring 60-70 Asura zone, at the bottom right corner of the map there was a road seemingly leading to an entrance blocked by some weird metal things/rocks, there might ave been something they didn’t quite finish.

This is quite possible actually. I mean next month is 1 year anniversary of gw2 so devs might be up for some big stuff like introducing Kralkatorik or something. Can’t wait!!!

GW2 expectations always fail. You better lower them.

Tbh Bazaar patch expectations were more than met, at least for me

I would rather discover Maguuma first to have zone add 35 -55, 55-75, and 80 to go exploring the jungle, discover other Sylvari, Asura others can be … Hidden labs, centaurs forgotten towns … The fall of the Magi, The cascade to head scultées … And the Temple of Balthazar forget in the trifle!

But it’s interesting, I hope we find in the desert crystal, tombs (underworld entrance)

With them getting rid of the Cantha district in DR because the Koreans and Chinese can’t get along and them saying they would like to go back to Cantha but nothing is being planed in the near future I don’t think we will see the Deep Sea Dragon anytime soon.

1) As said above, those images are from the new Skyhammer sPvP map

2) The Zephrites talk a lot about Kralkatorrik because they got their tech from Glints body after the fight between the two.
