I really love the new crystal guardian greatsword. Does anyone know how to get this.

i heard it drops from the champion icebrood in HoTw path 1, is there any where else i can farm for this maybe even solo?

any help would be appreciated

Really cant think if a good chain. I know around the camp bottom left corner of the map theres a champ ice brood quaggan. Then north theres a champ ice brood kodan. Also wayfarer foothills and snow den are a good choice. Wolf master svanir in midwest wayferer, tho not sure if svanir is icebrood. Maw is in wayfarer, so bonus chest just for that. Really cant think of any other champs off the top of my head.

the price of the crystal guardian has been dropping like crazy since its inception

i hope it drops fairly easily if you try and farm for it

i really would like one

i actually like it more than the fractal greatsword

You can blame it on our server since we are farming it like crazy :P. In fact two days ago we had so many people there was massive culling and the champs barely lasted 5 seconds ;D

Not for everyone but the sheer #’s gives us better odds!

The one I do know that is dropping for everyone is Cobalt. We had 5 Cobalts drop in about 5 hours of farming, split amongst at least two dozen.

No, it isn’t.
It is in the Gilded Strongbox and the Branded Strongbox. Which only drop from specific champion mobs. This would be why people are saying that.

I just got mine from that box dropped from AC lv30+ story mode dungeon, I was playing with my lv 72 elementalist, didnt expect I get lv80 exotic gear though and a exotic hammer looks like death god weapon.

I got one as well from AC story, but I can’t remember who dropped it.

Anyhow, if you want one you can just buy it off the TP. Last I checked it was ~10g, so in 2 days of mild dungeon-ining you will have the cash for it.

I got one of those form a champ in Queensdale- was selling for 2g or so- I gave it to my husband for Norn Guardian

I bought mine……considering it was only 10 gold, I found that to be a bargain for a Celestial great sword. A kittening scelerite skin sells for more, buy the GS and don’t pray to the RNG gods. Plus the particle effects and animation of the weapon are awesome, wicked bargain…..

ps. the sigil on it is worth more than the weapon so you could buy it, salvage it for ecto and dark matter and then sell the sigil for a profit on the entire deal.
