Dailies? Or lack of? Grind? End game
While I wouldn’t mind some change in dailies from time to time, nobody is making you complete the achievements. That’s why they are achievements.

Its called having something to do besides grinding fractals, crafting or grinding a new toon.
I just think we need more variety.
Grind is something you have to do to get to the fun, nobody is forcing you to do dailies.
Maybe I should have said….I dont mind grinding but the same grind every day minus variety is what gets boring.
Never liked being forced to the same type of quests over and over again.
GW2s system allows us to do anything we want in order to complete our dailies..
We should want more freedom not lesss.

THats why i said an event system for the above dailies.
Besides like people said to me…you dont have to do the above (if it was implemented) if you dont want to.
Daily achievements aren’t something you go out and do, it’s something you accomplish naturally through playing the game.
I have never felt like I needed to go out and do something for my daily, I get it naturally through playing the game.
wow…i should have changed the title of this thread…more people are on about not loosing their “freedom” without even taking into thought the whole idea of joining different NPC groups and adding more “variety” to the game.
This is just an idea people…it could be tweaked to seamlessly flow in with normal every day gameplay.
What exactly are you suggesting, then? It sounds like you’re suggesting daily quests similar to what exist in other MMOs – you walk up to some NPC, he tells you to kill six snow moose, then you get a reward, then you kill six more the next day.
As opposed to the daily we have in GW2 now, which is “Go do stuff. What? No, anything. Anywhere you want. Yeah, there too. Go nuts with it, I don’t even care.”
This is why people are talking about freedom and variety. One has it, one doesn’t.
And a man who trusts no one is a fool.
We are all fools, if we live long enough.”
This should of probably of been tossed into the Suggestions subforum

Uh, actually, daily achievements are perfect.
Why? Because they allow more variety than any other achievements, period. Kill count? Variety of kills? Events? Gathering? You can do this literally on any map in the entire game, save perhaps Orr.
I’m actually curious how you intend to argue that it’s somehow a grind that you can complete your daily achievements while playing in any location in the entire game. And what you think are more appropriate requirements for the daily achievements.
Let’s hear it.
How’d that work out for us so far?
Now let’s try some ideas that will really work.
Ammm, no, thank you. I spent June-September doing my 30min/day daily quests to get a stupid ring every 2 weeks with stupid random stats that never worked for my class so I could spend another 2 weeks on another stupid and ultimately useless ring. Which would be the best they could do with factions in a game that’s not based on factions.
Might as well just add more general content in the world, any of which can apply to the current daily achievement.
I’m completely done with daily grinding of faction rep after getting both Lightbringer and Sunspear rank in GW1 to max, along with all the other rep grinding nonsense from WoW. Keep that garbage away and implement more uses for karma instead.
