Do 4 of these 6 Achivements
They are, but not now.
What Colin said wasn’t all for the January update.
There are a lot of thing in there that will be implemented gradually (from what I read on the blog)
Yes, for some reason they decided to add some daily options that some people would find difficult to complete (like Combo fields) but to hold off with the ability to choose which dailies you want to complete for some indeterminate number of months, according to a Anet person. (I’ll link if I find the post.)
Seems like it wasn’t well thought-out. If people who can’t do their own combos and who don’t have a ready group to play with (due to time or other factors) end up with terrible RNG so combo fields come up regularly, they won’t be able to complete their dailies for some number of months. Yay.
Combo field dailies were only an issue for the first 3 hours this new system was in place. Let’s not fall back to complaining about things that no longer exists. Please, there’s enough negativity on the boards as is. Let the fire that has died remain as such.
Lighten up people…we’re playing games here.
All classes can get combo fields, putting it in the daily is a good way for players to experiment.
They are going to implement this, but they saw the suggestion on the forums a little too close to the end of the development cycle of this content roll-out in order to include it.
Therefore I may take some time replying to you.
If they do change it to a choice to choose from, im sure they will have at least one undesirable in the list (to make it challenging). Thats why there isn’t a choice yet, they want the players response first. GW2 tends to keep things on the challenging side for the hard core gamers.
Bottom line, they should not have released the new dailies before they could get in the option to choose among them. They could save themselves and players a lot of headaches by simple reality testing of ideas before implementation.

Nah…I prefer in an ever-growing game that it’s best to implement, tweak, then add-on. There’s nothing wrong with implementing a fluctuation system before a choice system (especially if the first was near completion when the second was suggested).
I still haven’t even seen Combo Fields as a daily — and if BioFringe is correct, it was only around for a few hours before being removed. Aside from that, none of the requirements should be giving people any trouble. They’re all pretty simple, and based around core mechanics of GW2 that might naturally be accomplished through normal gameplay.
