Does the Diminishing Returns System Limit Future Content?
DR isn’t a new system. They used it in GW1. It’s just bugged for some things.
Is there really only me who is worried about how this system seems to limit how much they can add to existing zones without the system adding alot of problems to players?
I read your Op and I really don’t understand why you think DR would impact new content.
They will add new content- I would also love to see every map literally bristling with events- some already are like that.
I am sure this is what we will have eventually, since Anet stated that the way they designed DE’s were specifically to be able to add new content easily.

I honestly can’t see the link between DR and adding new content. Could you explain it a bit more explicitly?

Yeah, it’s pretty much just you. The system needs tweaking but the gist of it is “doing a variety of different things will continue producing normal results, doing the same thing over and over and over and over and over will eventually yield no results.”
Adding to the variety of things to do will not impact doing the same thing repeatedly, except that you will now have more choices for the variety of things part.
I haven’t found DR to ever be an issue so far.
I laugh at the image in my head of the guy actually worrying at his desk, scratching his head and rubbing his palms together"what am i going to do???".if a game has you this worried i feel sorry for you when real life catches up-good luck out there bud : (
Huh? The DR system makes even more sense in a situation with more content, as there are more alternatives to farm till DR kicks in.
OP how are you envisioning this would be a problem. DR needs some rethinking perhaps (as with many GW2 features) but I don’t get your point.
They have stated many times it is bugged. Stop freaking out over small things.
nope. im glad theyre ruining farming for u.
