I tried using a Crude Salvage Kit on the tonic to see if I could salvage it, but it didn’t work. =\

Just out of curiosity, did you see any of the following forms beyond what randomly popped when you did this video?

-Cub version of the lynx.
-Male lion.
-Black house cat.
-Orange tabby house cat.

when laurel was implemented? i dont think we have more than 4 months whit this “no grind” dialy stuff;

1 month doing all daily can give you max: 50 laurels. 10 pvp, 10 pve, 1 laurel daily per 30 day=50 laurels.

5 month whit the daily currency= 5×50=250 laurels

so basically you need 20 months doing daily each day including pvp and pve months to get 1000 laurels

so now some genius explain

refreshing every 5min and stil nobody have answer the question: how to get 1000 laurels in 4 months. some dev perhaps?

Finishing your monthly (not daily) is 10laurels
:edit: so if there’s a monthly PvE, and monthly PvP, that’s an aditional 20 per month, as I understand it

Unless they changed the price recently. Endless Cat tonic = 100 laurels not 1000 laurels

Laurels were added during the January 28th content update, Flame and Frost: Prelude. They were not part of that month’s monthly reward.
Laurels were added to PvP Daily and Monthly achievements on the March 26, 2013 update. This had the side effect of players being able to earn another ten laurels by completing the Monthly PvP achievement for the month if they hadn’t earned it already.

no, just one pve or pvp, if you do both you can get coin for the stupid SA box dungeon. thats all.

dailies: ~30 per month in Feb and March = 60
monthlies: 10 per month in Feb March and April (if youre trying that hard for the cat tonic, you definitely did april’s already) = 30
total: 90.

HOWEVER!!!
When they added the ability to do “either” pvp or pve for your monthly 10, there was a bug. If you did the PvE monthly before march 26, then did the PvP one between march 26 and april 1 (and not earlier in the month), you could get credit a second time for the month. People who managed to do that could have 100 today, and others have a little more than a week to go.

Great, the bug exploiters get the tonic first. I was hoping to be among the first to get this tonic but because of the stupid pvp monthly bug I’m now 10 days behind.

There have been a total of 13 “bonus” laurels. Two from post-patch, pre-reset dailies, one from the pvp daily of this recent content patch day, and ten from the March post-patch pvp monthly. This brings the possible grand total as of this moment to 106 laurels, prior to tonight’s reset. The only one I missed was the pvp daily bonus laurel, during this last patch day.

I was planning to get it already, since I’ve been collecting pretty much every sort of transformation potion available. I started late, though, so I only have 40-ish laurels. X.x

Anyway, I’m an avid RPer, so things like this really help out for certain characters and scenes. I have one character that just RPs as another Elementalist’s snarky Elemental summons using the charged, hard, cold, and warm potions. The cat potion just opens more doors for other fun things.

Might be worth it once you have all your ascended stuff and nothing else to really buy. I thought this tonic was going to be a lot better than what the video showed. I was expecting small cats and not lions and the like. I know there is smaller ones shown as well.

Wow people are rude. Why wouldnt this be fun? Its all in WHY you play the game. I feel Ascended crap is a waste and would rather have the fun stuff first. Not a waste at all. I can get Ascended crap from Fractals… crafting… etc. Meh. Ill take the fun things that make GW unique.

I totally agree with the people saying they’d rather get the fun stuff before the ascended items. If you’re not having fun then I see no reason to play, and being able to turn into different cats is gonna be sooooo much more fun that two or three extra stat points lol.
