ANet was closed, at least partially for the day, due to a power outage. Normally they have a prep day before a major patch. They need to do last minute checks as well as a possible tweak to recipes IF there was some TP shenanigans over the weekend.

It’s coming. But due to circumstances beyond their control there’s a delay.

With all the people disappointed that the update isn’t being released at the beginning of the time window kind of explains, and reinforces, why Anet probably doesn’t give specific release times.

Yeah, the tests for our main product take 20 hours to run from start to finish. A few hours power cut could delay a release by a day easily, well done to ArenaNet if it only delays them a few hours.

Never. I gave them Ghirardelli dark chocolate squares. Got to keep those neurotransmitters happy.

Under an hour left in my computer time I did get 13 flasks of linseed oil farmed, guess that’s something. At this point I am selfishly hoping the patch is delayed for, say, 5 more hours from now. That way I can go get groceries and have my Tuesday night steak dinner, then bail on my husband when I see on my tablet that the patch is live (normally on Tuesday eves we watch movies/TV shows together) … otherwise I just have to avoid forums and friends until midday tomorrow so I can get in and play it without spoilers.

I’d go have a snack now but I don’t want to leave the computer while the patch might drop with enough time for me to see how things start ><

They’ve been unable to get the coffee machines to reboot. Caffeine withdrawal has set in, and tempers are running high. Interns were sent for emergency supplies, but contact was lost over an hour ago. There’s the disturbing smell of burning plastics in the air, and rumor has it that the art team has gone feral.

And aside from it being a typical patch day, they’re still a bit behind from that power outage yesterday.

It’s where the next page loads but without your post leaving a blank page. It’s easily fixed by changing the page number in the URL to the previous one although people often make another post to avoid doing that.
