- Eternity only give us 1 more effect that its changing into Twilight or Sunrise depend on the night/day.So finally its required alot of farm and gold ( just say the cost of 2 gifts ) and you cant freely control the skin(twilight or sunrise) you want to see anymore, and intead u take 2 gifts for eternity, u can save them for another legend wep, its worth than u make eternity.
-if Eternity can give us something to make its worth, i think its good, not just like combine 2 legendary into 1 and no more good effect.
So how do u think about it ?

I love the confidence these people have when they state ‘facts’ they clearly know nothing about.

Glad to see so many are enjoying this thread. I’ve embarked on my “Journey to Eternity” (hey, it rhymes ~heh~) and am enjoying the challenge. I know Twilight will look better on some of my characters and Sunrise more on others, while my Mesmer plans to use the Eternity skin. She’s a Sylvari, so she’s used to looking one way during the day and another at night already.

Totally not worth it to me. I have both Twilight and Sunrise and I would never change them into Eternity.

You loose a weapon that you can change stats on any time you want. You go from having two changeable stat weapons to one. No thank you.

Or maybe make the Eternity look like that picture some one made earlier that has been floating around the forums since eternity first showed up :P

Which Eternity would look better as a rework? Or perhaps have both of them as day/night Eternity so they look different than just the same Sunrise/Twilight versions.

If Eternity looked like in those images then the weapon would be 1000% more worth the time and effort to obtain.

My Charr looks sooo kitten when at night (with the night version of Eternity) but
with the rise of the sun he looks so…. off

I really wish we could use the two Eternity versions seperatly

Talking about a Charr, wondering if you were trying to swear and got filtered. Or just saying he looks like a kitten.

Actually I had never seen the gold one (love it)!

I have been playing since launch and made twilight a little over a year ago. I JUST recently finished sunrise and turned them into Eternity. I did not become more powerful but my god do I love that weapon. I don’t care who else has it and I don’t care how much time/effort it took. I love having it and I love logging in and seeing my Mesmer with it. Onto bolt!

I have Sunrise and Twilight for some time and because I have 17 level 80 characters (+some low level) I found better to have two legendary weapons than one skin. I know I can combine them at any time and it is enough for me.

I actually made eternity and kind of wish I had done what Settes did.

Now if A-net gave legendary weapons sigil swapping…..

I was trying to say it looked awesome and used the word bad as (<- with another s here)

Meanwhile I had Twilight, but I was never using the stat change option. Ascended has the same stats anyway so I made sunrise, made eternity and sold it. I now have 5k+ gold and 2 legendary skins. I wished I could do this for other legendaries as well. Free skins and a ton of gold, what’s not to like?

i guess this discussion doesnt really apply to you since you dont really use the eternity skin

For those who do not know it, there are subtle differences between the draw/aura effects of all three GS, as this pic shows. Personally, getting Eternity is worth it, IMO.
