I’d like to but still waiting on ANet to implement new dungeons xD
Personally when I need gold I farm zones. FGS is my favorite but you can farm Dry Top too.
You should do AC2 as well, it is really fast if the party is half-decent. CoE can be fast, but it all depends on the parties you get and some parts can be annoying. But there is a plus size – you may have noticed that each (or most?) dungeon has a lodestone associated with it (TA has Onyx, CoF has Molten, SE has Destroyer) and you get them or cores fairly often from dungeon chests. Well, the lodestone associated with CoE is the Charged one, so even if you get only cores, that’s still 1.5g right there on the spot.
Also, don’t forget to buy exo head armor with dungeon tokens (180 per piece) and salvage them with BLSK for ectos and insignia (not all stat combos drop insignia, but each dungeon except CoF has at least one that does – AC and SE is Soldier’s, CoE is Dire, CM and TA is Rabid iirc).
GL!
wow.. how come no one mentioned HotW p1…
Archeage = Farmville with PK

Not as easy since they relocated the AC troll there, most pugs fail that fight now… That, and the hour-long endfight snorefest.

I don’t because I hate it. Too many bosses with too much hp.
Make Superior siege weapons , only if you have spare Skills points and no longer need Additional ectos.
buying the normal Siege weapon prints from the TP is Cheap and the Return is a decent profit if you make 25-50 at a time, list them for a little bit higher than the best selling value to get the most for your buck.
Mythril and eldar wood are Extremely common to come by in lvl 65-80 zones.
It’s nice to mix it up and have a solid map rotation when farming so you don’t burn out. Coil farms are good. One day do event train farming. Throw in some pilates, 32 oz. of water and some squats. Then do a 3 Guard/2Mes. SE p1. all reflects. Southsun skelk, I hear you drop vicious and powerful! Let’s talk!
After that I just put Eye of the Tiger on.
I was in the same situation and I do not like the dungeons in this game, cannot make myself run them and definitely not on a regular basis.
Salvage the guaranteed rare item from world bosses for ectos, sell the sigills and runes you get there and do you dailies. You can get T6 chests for laurels, that helps quite a bit. Make mystic clover, even after you have enough for your legendary – most of the time you will get T6 mats there as well.
This way you will not need that much gold.

Love it!
Buy gems and convert to gold.
Try to make some friends in every good dungeon run you have. Eventually you may get to the point where you get invited to smooth Arah runs. Good Arah runs actually aren’t much longer than other dungeons.
The best way to get gold is to work a few extra hours or a second job, buy gems with the proceeds, and convert to gold.
I do some tutoring on the side and make $45/hr. If I chose to convert that to gold, that’s 375 gold per hour.
If your time is limited, you should do that and use your game hours to have fun rather than grind dungeons.

well said! this can support the dev too. i hate grinding. i play for fun. i can pvp. pve, dungeon anytime i want
Start with TEQ event, then…
Arah p1/p2 – for Time/Reward ratio. If you group is strugling to get skips, then quit and do other dungeons, it will save your time.
AC P1/P2
CM P1/P3 w/ Thief
TA UP
SEP1P3
COF P1.
I have 2 legendaries and my friend has over 8 legendaries. Dungeon grinding is not the best way to do it. World event bosses and Temple events/Group events in Orr are much better methods. In those events you get a lot more drops from mobs which could translate to precursor drops or other high value drops. Just sell your loots to Trading Post. In those events, sometimes I get several t6 mats worth more than a whole dungeon run in just a couple of minutes. Other things u can do is craft time gated items and sell them. Each time there is a major content update, sell all the new materials that are in demand. I do dungeon runs mainly for the tokens needed to craft an item or for the fun of it. It’s a kitten poor way to make gold unless you are path selling or speed runner.
PS: If you don’t have a staff guardian, make one for the sole purpose of killing mobs in group events in open world. Staff guardians get more loots than any profession I have tried farming with. The auto attack with staff guardian makes it easy to tag every mob. Make sure you are in a group to increase your chance to get credit for the kills.

This.
Thanks guys for all replies!
Learn to run Arah and have a good 1-3 run, with a good team doesn’t take too long and gives you quite a good gold.
