For the Tamini! or not
First thing that comes to mind are China regs; no depictions of human skeletons.
I’ll check next time I’m in game, though. It could also just be a rendering glitch.
Another thread on this same topic said the same thing: ANet buckling under to Chinese influences. They did the same thing in GW1 when they removed the Panda mini (so glad they brought it back here!)
Political correctness is pretty annoying, eh? And I imagine it’ll make for a pretty boring, un-spooky Halloween as well. (Sigh).
Set a man on fire, and he’ll be warm the rest of his life.

The client isn’t the same for us and for China, so you can give this excuse a rest.

It takes time to go over the original Chinese version and make the special changes to our version to better suit our audience. That’s why it probably took so long to port over all the things in the Chinese version to ours. It’s likely that many, small yet noticeable differences from the Chinese version that was created with them in mind have slipped under the radar, like the missing skulls. Remember how the font on the launcher got changed? It’s probably some Chinese character compatible font since the font for our version probably wasn’t.
I noticed this too in Queensdale

Halloween is going to be awkward.
