Well…core or not…i care about my members and my members are f2p…core…whatever…i wish i could provide them those buffs…

In their (ArenaNet) eyes the paid core game no longer exists save for a few less restrictions. If you aren’t a HoT player then you are playing the game for Free.
This is blatantly obvious by all the changes to the core game.

Or it’s a bug. I doubt very much that ArenaNet meant to take away buffs from those who paid money for the game.
(In terms of Play-for-Free, I’m ambivalent: on the one hand, it’s a buff-of-convenience and it makes sense that it’s not available to PfF. On the other hand, it seems unnecessarily stingy, since PfF is already locked out of the GH.)

Look…i don’t say,F2P should get this and that…all i care is for my members…f2p or core…to get the buffs we worked for….nothing else.

The whole point of f2p is to get a taste. If the players want the full experience tell them to buy the game.

Which is just stupid of them imo. I bought the original game. I have purchased through gem shop many times. I just don’t care to buy HoT for my accounts right now because there’s not much in it of interest to me. I am a casual player and still find plenty to occupy my time in Tyria. If I’m going to spend $50, I’m going to spend it in the gem shop to get things I want more. It’s annoying being treated like a second class citizen when I’ve given Anet more money than some people who own HoT.

not a bug .. the change is intended. They asked me to start a thread on this … And i did .. and also on reddit … all i can hear from a.net is the sound of crickets .. even with over 4 k views
