Guild Missions
I’d love to see 8-10 player instanced content. I’d do it with the guild. But, I would hate to see exlusive rewards tied to it.
Fractals are good fun, and I like them, but I don’t like that ascended gear is tied only to Fractals and I don’t like that the fractal levels are so divisive. Personally, I’d love some Fractal like “missions” that end with a splendid or glorious or dungeon type chest, no new token, no reward that can’t be gotten in other ways through the world.
I pretty much consider all of the game’s content as guild content, but having more party spots available in some instances would make things better for group focused players.

Agreed. As long as they learn from their mistake and move away from content-exclusive rewards, I guess id be OK with it. If the chests at the end of guild missions dropped the same type of stuff as the end of a dungeon, or a world boss fight…Im OK.
I am much more interested in the Guild content you can create for others to enjoy- I hope that is more than just a banner or two.
I have a small family guild so I don’t care about Guild instances unless they can be two manned :P
I’m glad for the bigger Guilds out there though.
Well GW1 had elite missions. I think it would be cool if it was something like Fissure of Woe or the Underworld like in GW1.
“Some of these missions may be content designed specifically for the guild to accomplish within certain constraints or time requirements while others see the creation of new content by a guild/s everyone in the world can experience.”
I believe the missions could be world events, like the Dragon Events, but done by guilds, maybe killing Shatterer as a guild, in a 10/20 man instance/raid for example, that were those “constraints” come in. Loot/experience/karma wise it should have the exact same rewards as a normal Dragon encounter, only give something extra for the guild, guild currency/influence or whatever. Nothing to reward individuals, only something to reward ORGANISED guilds.
I’m kind of excited about the upcoming guild based content. I’m always looking for more ways to get my guild playing together regularly so I have a lot of hope for the updates. However, it would be regrettable to have another group of items with limited accessibility. Although if it is something that isn’t really game changing, like cosmetic items or maybe influence items similar to blc rewards, I don’t seeing it being too serious.
