Suggest hairstyles you’d like to see Anet deliver Even post pictures! Give anet the idea they needed before the recent hairstyle blunder. I know some of you are happy with the change- The patch itself is Great, but as far as personal cosmetics go, it’s not.

Human Females – Long hair, Long braid? More Curly hair, better female mohawks. Greco-roman hairstyles.
Human Males- Better beards and ’staches please. A variation of Warrior and gentleman. Male braid variation, Better mohawks, Curly Hair, Long hair.

Sylvari- Long leaf hair, Branch-twist hair, More flower variation hair, Thorn “hair” Thorn Mohawk.

Charr – Tribal spikes, mohawks, bones, striped hair, Braids and feathers.

Asura- Wraps, up-do’s, Nothing crazy fancy because they’re asura, but more practical styles.

Norn – Curly hair, Celtic Braids with horned headbands, Wind-blown hair, Choppy hair, Normal ponytails (no anime ponytails) Celtic Braided beards, longer beards.

Undercut and short messy for human males. also more beard options, short and long ones.

Personally, I think asura, especially females, have enough up-do’s. I’d me more interested in longer hairstyles.

I’d be satisfied with female Human hairstyles that aint little girlish, no ribbons, pigtails, sprinkles, etc.

I like any short but feminine hairstyle for my female characters. Long hair = clipping.

I want Anet to simply watch 80 hours of random anime and pick hair styles out of that. It should be possible to effectively cosplay characters from those with a close but not outright copied hair style.

While they’re at it, add a knee length skirt for human females and skirts for Asurans. Something like the magician’s pants but without stockings and with underwear (cause swimming is a thing and faking a skirt leaves some things seeming exposed). For asurans: full length would do. Don’t have to do knee length there. Also have skirts for medium and heavy armor types.

There are ways that long hairstyles can be implemented without clipping. Most of the shorter hairs clip anyways so clipping doesn’t 100% bother me the one long human hairstyle is pretty and does fine with clipping and its my favorite hairstyle but I don’t play human.

i feel like humans need at the very least 4 long hairs that go to their back or longer like the one long non exclusive hair

asura needs a hair that at least goes to their back also

same with Sylvari they need some long leaf hair that goes to their back.

This hairstyle is all I could ever hope for. I would die if I could have hair like this.
Also, dyable accessories. I don’t like having to chose between basic colors like poop-black and bird poop-white

They should add every hairstyle color to accessories they don’t even have a proper white or black hair accessory color and I would love a long braid like Cecilia suggested on humans also I would love any khaleesi hairstyles they are beautiful and i believe they would blend perfectly into gw2

A hair like this would be gorgeous I think it would also fit perfectly into guild wars 2. It doesn’t have to be curly or have braids but give us pretty long fantasy hair like this for humans, sylvari, and even asura

Sylvari- Long leaf hair, .

I’ve been waiting for 4 years now for a long loose and leafy hair for my necro, please anet.

Still holding out hope for dreadlocks for human females.

Sylvari – Cactus hairstyles. And no, I don’t just mean spikes / needles. We have a couple of those styles already. I mean, like, having actual cacti on their head as “hair”. There are tons of varieties of cacti that would make neat hair styles. Some of the longer, thinner varieties could serve as more traditional hair, while some of the more circular cacti could be buns, a Mohawk made out of paddle cactuses… plenty of unique possibilities there. I remember way back when there were still race-specific forums there was a thread about Sylvari hair where we actually got occasional replies from the primary design artist for Sylvari, and they said they didn’t feel cactuses “fit” Sylvari since they’re more forest / jungle like. But living in Colorado we have cactuses in forest areas, so I don’t really feel like that limitation needs to exist.

I’d also love to see a pine tree hairstyle, but I remember in that same thread them saying it wouldn’t be possible to make a pine tree style hair look good because it would be too many polygons for density of needles they’d need to make it look natural.

Oh, and more mushrooms. Smaller clusters as opposed to one giant mushroom cap, perhaps.

Charr – More subdued, practical styles. Like, seriously, enough with the enourmous spiked hairstyles that look like you got your head stuck in a light socket. Functional, pulled-back hair with simple metal or bone adornments. Maybe a pulled-back and braided mane for males. Maybe a hairstyle where the hair is wrapped around the horns to keep it out of the way, though that may be difficult to design considering the different horn styles. Maybe a style using feathers as adornments, since it would still fit the tribal style. Heck, maybe they could use something like devourer tails as adornments as well.

Asura – Shorter styles. Not necessarily in “hanging down the back” length, but thinking more on the top. Asura seem to have a ton of hairstyles that are really big and puffy. Definitely keep making cool tech-looking adornments though, those are my favorite part of most Asura styles. One particular example I think would be really awesome would be some holographic adornments. Could do 2 separate styles, one in the style of the typical Asuran holograms and one specifically in the style of Moto’s “solid holography”. Oh, and more bandanas too, especially for the females. For females it might also be nice to see a beaded hairstyle, but with little asura baubles as the beads.

those are amazing drawings snow!! i like all of those styles if you feel inspired or feel like it you should also draw up some longer hairstyles you have a cool taste for hair haha

That second picture is exactly what I had in mind when I requested longer hairstyles for asura. Thanks for posting that!

I love the female asura hair, the rainbow is abit much but the design itself is awesome

Anime flower hair, anime genie ponytails are clearly what we’re not asking for anet- hopefully this can get more spotlight

More fae like sylvari hair
Long asuran hair
Tribal hair for charr
Curly hair, cute bobs and Celtics braids for norn

some hair styles that are more in the fantasy realm then realistic would be nice, two toned hair is missing in both human and norn.

yes!! those are fantastic, I think they should do longer, bigger curly hair options.

Unlike the old one, her bangs are actually layered out as it increases in length to frame her face before dropping off to the really long length. But yeah, I liked this look of hers in her early days.

I just want the ponytail that the ghost npcs in bloodstone fen have, and the other hairstyle the mantle inquisitor veteran has.

So I was looking at some Gw1 hairstyles and I think it would be cool to bring some back for Humans/Norn/etc. A lot of them were pretty neat, I liked the ranger/ele ones a lot myself.
I also included another Sylvari style too.

That hair is available for norn females, from the previous new hair set. Not quite so floaty, but a long braid with physics and bangs.

There are the dervish hairstyles, they could be human and norn mixed

I’d love something like what you have, anet created something close to these but it’s a short style and does not frame the face well or the head for that matter- almost as if it’s a wig and all your hair is bundled up under the cap poorly, so the back of the wig won’t fit (I’ve worn a wig before)

The shoulder length bob that was an original before hairkits would be a great model imo, they would just have to lengthen it and maybe fluff it up with some volume some.

I don’t know how possible it would be, but it would be nice if every hairstyle could get a second dye channel for the tips/roots or something. I know some Asura hairs do this, so I’d like to see it for every hairstyle.
