It’s a term that boors use to attempt to make themselves feel better about their build and gear choice (usually cookie cutter FoTM) while claiming that other players who do not play exactly as they do have no skill.

It’s also a clear signal indicating that the player using said term needs to be ignored.

its the exact same thing as noob, but saying noob in real life sounds silly, and saying scrub does not.
but either one means you should just ignore them. since its a clear indicator that, that person has less skill than you and you should leave immediately to avoid a bad time/run.
