How Do You Feel About Orr Statue Effects
Irritating. They keep you in a battle state and then you walk slow. The mesmer field one is particularly dangerous though so i avoid it whenever possible. I guess it serves it purpose though to show the perils of Orr.
trying to solo 100% orr is pretty dangerous on my server. there is virtually no one on so party play out of the question. it took me 2 hours to get 1 skill challenge down. and i didn’t even do it correctly. i had to use knockback and immobilize + swiftness to reach and commune before the vet mob and his 2 adds could get to me and interrupt. this of course is in addition to the corrupted statue firing poison and cripple into the water.
One time (though I wasn’t sure anymore), I still got the effects even after liberating the two statues in malchor’s leap. =/

The others never even phase me.
Zone is horrible unless you have bot trains clearing the way. As the population lessens I suppose they will lower respawn rate,
I will state the obvious.
That zone is designed for you to walk in packs. Get a group.
That’s one of GW2 end game. Exploring and properly doing it’s event as a guild or a group.
If you gonna solo it, it’s the same as trying to solo a dungeon.
i will refute. i’ve done orr to 100% in all 3 zones on 2 characters solo.
it is completely soloable, while a dungeon is scaled to 5 players no matter how many are in there. your analogy is flawed.
and as previously stated, devona’s rest is devoid of players end game. in fact, it’s got one of the lowest player pop for the NA servers
I was alone in front of a veteran and his two mobs in several times there, yeah. Then I rememberd: “oh silly, you are a thief, you can bypass all that”.
