How much Luck in total, to get 300% MF?
Presuming from 20% MF to 300%
Hai
Yea, so trying to figure out how much luck is needed to get to 300% in magic find. Anyone knows ?
And is the gap from 299% to 300% 70200 luck ?
Piken Square = Best server !
Its probably more than that. I was getting 20 luck increase each percent till I hit like 60% then it was a 50 luck increase per percent. My guess is getting to 300% is going to take a very large amount of luck.
A lot according to the wiki. Each time you increase your luck bar, it takes more essence to hit the next level.
It will take 114,480 to hit 98%, that’s as much as we know.

hmm ok so its not 10 luck increase pr. 1% MF increase – sadface
Go into your characters achievement panel and it shows you how much more you need for the next , for me from 47 to 48 needs 540.
300% is very high so it shouldn’t be easy.
I like this! :-)
Is it a 300% chance to find a magic item, or a 300% bonus of whatever the base magic find was? If the latter, what is the base?
There is a thread on Reddit that extrapolated the amount you needed to get from 20% to 300%. It isn’t certain to be correct, but based on what we know so far it will take 4.19 million luck to hit 300%
This is the worst case scenario. If the increase levels off after a while it may take much less.

Nothing for someone with a little bit of gold. They could do it in a day. Though I think playing the game with finger nubs after all that clicking, may not be terribly fun.
For me it will be a long time to see a decent percentage. Not sure I’m up for all that, motivation is waning.
Thx for the info just the same

Posts like this crack me up. It’s been less than 24 hours since the patch?!?! People are at 100% or higher already! Sure it won’t happen this week, but I guarantee you someone will be 300% within a month or two. This is supposed to be a very high cap that is account wide, that takes time to get to. If you were expecting everyone to be at 300% in a week, what’s the point?
300% is very high so it shouldn’t be easy.

Time-consuming =/= difficult

Exactly. But it may be painful on the clicking finger.
I certainly won’t be getting a high percentage anytime soon. I wasn’t expecting to. However all it takes to get there is a fat wallet full of gold and a marathon of clicking and someone will get it in a day.

The point is to get rid of the green and blue items flooding the market, and give a longer lasting source for these items for the casual player. Casual players will stop dumping them onto the TP since they will need them, and hardcore players will quickly consume the overstocked TP supply.
Sure some super hardcore people will get 300% in a month, but even I am only at 60% and I salvaged about 600 items already.
Reddit figures it’s in the neighborhood of 4.2 million.
not sure how reddit calculated it but. It is not a static number. you start out only with a 10 luck increase after each percent, then it was a 20 luck increase each percent.
Im only at 66% and its now at a 50 luck increase.

Blues and greens were useless before this patch. Now they have value, now you’re not disappointed to get them. To me this change was genius. There is now an incentive to killing mobs instead of running past them to the boss. I love these changes. I understand and respect others opinions that the changes are bad, but for me, I remain optimistic and positive that these changes were good and needed.

Exactly. But it may be painful on the clicking finger.
There are artificer recipes to change blue luck to green to gold to exo. Use them if you are having trouble clicking on blue stacks. (free and iso-luck transformation)
Salvaged ~2600 greens on each account yesterday. Went from 26% (achievement rewards + free 20%) to 93%.

So whats the recipe?
Edit: Nvm, looked on wiki. All it does is make them into next level higher (no increase in amounts). Well at least it’ll be less clicking.
