Whats up with that?

I think she looks pretty nice, sophisticated, polite, put together and noble… but I never realized she didn’t wear shoes, that’s a bit funny and ridiculous really.

Cause they’re always with Logan. He’s busy being under her shoe.
(that’s the expression in my language that means henpecked/under someone’s thumb in english, lol)

when you are rich or powerful it is called being eccentric. Calling a person without shoes names loses its appeal when you wind up in the dungeon.

While obviously well-bred, the Queen is at liberty to make herself comfortable in the broader context of court etiquette. She is simply evidencing her wisdom in finding that, yes, it is more comfortable barefoot in the confines of your own palace.

I think they pretend not to be together, but the missing underwear and shoes could be a sign that they already did something before we see them talking..^^

A queen with dirty feet really isn’t a very good example now is she? Doesn’t really pass off the good mannered sophisticated impression she should. I mean what kind of image does she want her people to think of her when she walks around barefoot like a regular street commoner.

She’s wearing shoes, but they’re those weird shoes that have individual sleeves for each toe. They’re also flesh colored. An Asura made them for her, and she wears them for the sake of diplomatic relations with Rata Sum. Fortunately they are exquisitely comfortable.

She’s standing on a carpet, you don’t need shoes for that. And walking barefoot is awesome, you don’t know what you’re missing.

Oh great, the Queen’s a hippie. Yet another reason why the Charr ruin everything, if an Ascalonian was in charge, they’d bloody well dress up the part!

Also an Ascalonian would at least fill in that nasty pothole in Divinity’s Reach by now. As well as put in place sufficient educational facilities so that the majority of the city residents can communicate in more than hum’s and ha’s. Sure Lion’s Arch citizens suffer from severe short term memory loss, and tend to repeat themselves, but at least you can understand them.

She does have a very nice palace and her chamber has running water, maybe it’s just a bohemian…majesty type thing. I mean, it’s not unheard of in a fantasy setting to have a ruler not act so strict. I mean, she did make a peace treaty with the Charr, maybe she’s just a free spirit. I like it and i don’t care that you want her to have combat boots on.

The only times I’ve seen Logan hug the floor, Rytlock was around or I had experienced a total wipe so it was forgiven.

Could also be a case of the Empresses new shoes. She is getting the rest of the outfit made and is just waiting for the money to transfer. Just don’t let any small children in to spoil the show.

Queen Jennah going around barefoot gives me the impression that while being high and mighty, she is still down to earth, not afraid to be ridiculed and can stand up for herself. It is a strong statement. Which I think is a good thing. So I like her going barefoot, just like I do everyday ^,^
