I used the cheapest rare greatswords and sold the exotics ‘x200 rare’. I did 150 each week and got nothing until i upped it to 200+. I casually played mon-fri and used the mystic forge sat or sun.

I suddenly hate the OP……

Ok so I decided to spend 500g (Cost of precursor) on the mystic forge, I had got 1370 greatsword from the trading post and i had a few left over in my bank.

They was not 1 single precursor :-) in all those greatswords so definately consider buying outright before going to extremes on the mystic forge.

They was also nothing from the exotics also which also would of cost 150g.

Not so lucky after all haha :-).

I got my main necro with around 2k gold worth of items (a legendary, t3 set, forged items etc). The highest valued item I have EVER found was about 5g and that was like 4-5 times in 1.6k hours of playing time. All the money I’ve got is from completing events/selling junk mostly I believe.
Then people go ahead and get 1k+ gold in 24 hours lol, I also remember people getting 2 precursors in the karka event, people who had played the game for 3 hours.
Game’s broken and dumb in this case, I am not rewarded for my efforts at all while some people are rewarded for dumb luck and slacking in LA 24/7 and dumping 4 rares into the forge. (not talking to OP, just in general, gz btw).
I literally must have dropped about 9 million lootbags in wvw during the past month, every time I leave one behind I’m thinking – ‘based on my luck that was defo Dusk.’

Oh well aye…I swear if I ever find a proper precursor I will kitten myself.
Same with every other mmorpg I’ve played. As unlucky as you could ever get.
Once in Aion I rolled for some items, and I managed to roll the number ‘1’ (out of 100) 6 times out of ~25 tries. That’s when I knew I was kittened for life.
