Single player games don’t allow you to kill other players, which is the pinnacle of antisocial gaming.

I love that some players reaction is to state “join a bigger guild”. Pure comedy.

Hey, the Temples are bugged!! Don’t do them, do the dragons, lol!!

Some of my toons skills are bugged!! Roll a different toon, lol!!

Why does Anet let precursors be sold? LOL!!rng, deal with it,LOL!!

Some zones are dead due to the majority of the player base farming the world event bosses, because the rewards system is screwed up, why is it like this? LOL!! Get with the program!! Jump on the World boss event train dummy!!LOL!!!

So many excuses, instead of just fixing what is broken in a logical manner.

This made my day

Dear A-net: Please nerf rock. Paper is fine

They just stopped the exploit… how does fixing it not stop it?

Blame the players who felt the need to abuse this, not Anet for fixing it.

Actually they need to ban the abusers for a week with a warning, then ban for week if they repeat, then 3rd time—gone. Punish the abusers not the peeps who don’t exploit.

Anet continues to screw over legitimate players instead of doing what they should—bring the hammer down.

It’s been that way since guild missions went in. Some people just can’t conceive why someone wouldn’t want to be a member of a 400-person guild. Unfortunately, it looks like ArenaNet agrees with them.

You don’t need a 400 person guild to do guild missions. We do them with an 80 person guild,. and a pretty strong social core at the middle of it.

80 is still larger than 1 through 79 last I checked. Where is the arbitrary cut off on guild size being useful? Some mmo’s required a petition of x amount of players to start a guild (although you can easily get 10 sigs for a charter..sorta pointless). At some point Anet needs to come out and just plainly, in clear terms, state what their stance is on the arbitrary number they want for a useful guild size. Either guilds should be useful to everyone or start setting up some boundaries. Otherwise this “anet hates small guilds” talk will continue.

Right and people do them with 50 people guilds and 40 people guilds. I’m just saying this constant use of the word 400 member guild is misleading. I offered the 80 number, because it happens to be the number of people in my guild, not because it’s the minimum you need to do a guild mission.

If you can’t see the difference between a guild with 50 members and a guild with 400 I’m not sure there’s anything worth talking about.

I do indeed see a difference in guild size and rewards that consequently become available because of it. But essentially all you did was restate what a poster said earlier “Join a larger guild”. 80 is a relatively large size for a guild, and 400 is huge. I have been a part of guilds and clans most of my gaming life, and though GW2 lends itself to a more casual play style where people will be inactive for lumps of time, I’ve noticed that averages for active guild members fall in the 20 to 30 range more often than not.

What I am asking is where does the cut off on guild size being effective in GW2 start? Should guild sizes smaller than this arbitrary number just not be allowed? With recent updates, more and more casual and smaller guilds are becoming simply ineffective in the world of Tyria. While guild vault transports are not really that big of a deal to me, they were and are important to others, and simply stating that the reason a small guild can not have them is “Because you’re not as important as a bigger guild” strikes me as more than a bit selfish and self centered.
