This really seemed to stick out to me from this very well written suggestions in this thread:

“Why don’t you change it?
Rewards for hearts completion are pathetic. It’s more of a joke and mockery than a real reward. It used to be next to nothing, but now it is laughable.”

I never really thought about it, but questing is really just horrible. It is very time consuming with little reward. I don’t understand this. If the reward was much larger for each quest completed, more people will be inclined to explore much more. People will be roaming randomly throughout the world, create more classes / characters. (Even buy more character slots if you want a reason to support yourselves). I don’t see why the reward should be a very small amount of karma and a silver or two. (Not even worth mentioning)

heats are not quests- they were added late in development because people didn’t understand Dynamic events.
The point of hearts are to keep you in the area long enough for the Dynamic event to go off.
That is why they do not really give rewards as such. They are useful as shops when you level though

Yes but they are there, people don’t farm the low level average events that are spread across the world. And most people wind up having to do them if they have plans to go for their legendary, or just map completion reasons. Why not make it rewarding and enjoyable?

Why should people farm low level events?
What about new players?
You would be surprised to see how many people are indeed doing the low level "average"events.
It is only the champion zerg that ignores them

To me it is enjoyable to do events- I don’t farm them I do them because I like it.
Hearts are not a cash cow, they are there for new players, or someone new to a map- it is not like they are repeatable.
