That, and the fact that we can no longer use them with karma boosters (after the 3rd, anyway), means they no longer serve a purpose other than giving the “shiny!” people something to unwrap at the end of each day when they’ve finished their dailies.
Try winning over a thousand tournaments and having to salvage 5 items with a confirmation message per win.
With the new wallet and the incoming nerf to karma items what’s the point of the jugs anyway?
At the very least, a drink all option could be placed.

I drank my remaining karma this morning (about 2.5 million worth of karma, including Orrian jewellery boxes) and dude, my wrist’s still swollen.

Anet won’t be giving players so much more karma now. If they didn’t have plan for it.
It’s a more systemic problem – there needs to be an “open all” option for container items. But I also agree that bottled karma is a relic of a time when you needed to manage it between characters.
