Identify yourself as a player or a reader
Play at home and on the forum while at work on break.
Play at home and on the forum while at work on break.
Same here. Though I also read form at home, I never play the game at work. It is impossible on a cellphone.
Play at home and on the forum while at work on break.
Same for me.
I’ll identify myself as the 3rd kind, player and reader. However i dont play this game as much as i did because i get feed up with WvW’s staleness and PvE does not appeal me at all in this game.

Don’t argue with idiots, they pull you down their level and own you with experience.
Play at home and on the forum while at work on break.
Same as well.
There seems to be a rash of “left the game and still come to the forums to whine, complain, be negative” people, though. :\

Play and read/write
Krall Peterson – Warrior
Piken Square
Play and read: players who play and reads forums (myself)
Me, too. I usually l read (and post) in the mornings and play in the evenings, although if I have time I’ll often play in the middle of the day. And read. And post.
Edit second option to add post too.
I read when internet is slow or GW is patching otherwise I play
Angela Sky , THE Guardian
Orochimarei , THE Necromancer
I play a ton. I’m on the forums during breaks or after the guild goes to bed.
With the exception in doing the new episodes for living story I just read the forums than go and play Aion.
I’m the #3 (play at home, read at work)
BTW, the #1 case will never answer here, because you know … they aren’t here >_>
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
Usually i only play, but in GW2 it’s play and read, which is funny. I cought myself thinking about it just recently. For some reason only in GW2 i felt the need to post something on forums, usually i just play, in other games. Like in WoW, there were a lot of things i disliked, and it’s funny how thought of voicing my discontent on forums never even crossed my mind. Ever. I don’t know, might be because i usually had something better to do, in game.
PS. Reminds me of joke. Forums are GW2’s end game. xP
Play and read daily, though I now write less often than I had in the past.

Play + Forums.
You do know you by definition won’t get responses here from pure players who don’t visit the forums?
Only read and post on forums not play
Usually I just read the dev and patch posts, the rest is pretty much pointless arguing and hyperbole and it’s terribly tiresome to have the same convos over and over again or try to combat those trying to sell other games.
The devs have stated on numerous occasions that only a very small fraction of players ever post on the forums, reddit or fansites. I guess like most players, I mostly just play and love the game, only go looking for info when I need it
Not sure how you will get a response from the “only playing” crowd if they don’t read the forum :p
Oh and you missed the fourth type, “don’t play and don’t read forums”, although might be hard getting them involved too :p
Play when I can, and read when I’m bored.
I lol`d
7/10 would read again.
But seriously why make this topic unless your just attempting to bait out and isolate people who no longer play but still have opinions..
“Gw2, It’s still on the Table!” – Anet
I play… but I alt-tab to the Forums during loading screens.
i imagine no one here will use your first option, if they dont read the forum >:|, but im mostly on the 2nd option more time on forum and playing other mmo’s, than playing actually GW2.
Play at home and on the forum while at work on break.
This.

Play and read/write here. Although I spend a lot more time playing the game.
Mmo players with a screw loose vs mmo players with two screws loose. All very important stuff.

Play and read/write (a lot really).
RIP City of Heroes
Play at home and on the forum while at work on break.
Same for me as well (though even look through forums while not on break )
Please give us a keyring…
Play at home and read the forums while at work while “working.”
Currently I am but a reader. I do little more than log on and make sure I get the living story every few weeks.
I play, read, and post.
This game’s awesome. I can’t help but play it.
I play and read, I feel its good to know whats goin on in the forums as well as in the game.
I’m usually on the forums during the day, in-game at night unless I feel like playing another game more, which is more and more.
I try to avoid being negative but I find that hard to do. I come here more out of habit nowadays, though.
Stop treating GW2 as a single story. Each Season and expansion should be their own story.
Play at home and read at work. Oh wait…
Ok, ok, Play at home and read at work… and sometimes at home, too.

I’m a player and a reader. Use forum a lot to keep myself up-to-date with builds and read tips from mentors, hoping to improve more and more as a player ^^
Sometimes when I am very frustrated (for example after being camped at a vista I tried to get in WvW for map completion :P ) I can be pretty negative, and then feel sorry for it and stay silent (in the forum) for a while >.<

Ok, ok, Play at home and read at work… and sometimes at home, too.
Read at home, play at work is more likely.
Play increasingly less due to time constraints and personal issues, about to read the forums much considerably less after today.

I play a lot, and I read/respond on the forums when I feel like it but I actually have started to drift away form the forums more as the game has become so interesting lately.
“What Part Of Living Says You Gotta Die?
I Plan On Burnin Through Another 9 Lives”
Read and post from phone and iPad when out and about play at home but real life gets in the way of play time so I can’t play as much as I like to.
put the correct term in but not everyone has kittens
Both (although I do continue to read the forums during periodic breaks from playing the game).
Play at home read when i get a break in my insane day or when I’m traveling, country regulations permitting.
You probably won’t get many responses from people who don’t read…since they’re not here to read. =P
But to answer the question, I play and read.
I play at home about 4-12hours a day, and use the forum while on break, traveling to and from work, and sometimes while at home (though most of the time I’m too busy playing to use the forum at home)
I use to read and play. Now I only log on for about an hour every two weeks and read most of the time. I do play ESO now though
I am a pigeon – Here is a hole (Coo, Coo)
I am the Walrus, coo coo ca choo
I use to play more than read, reserving most of my reading/posting for when I had time at work. Now I’d say I read/post more than I play, though overall it’s dwindling, reached my goals in game, not seeing much light at the end of the tunnel as far as new stuff to come in and challenge me in a way I find fun, so… /shrug
I just hope they send out E-mails when SAB comes around in case I’m not paying much attention to the game when it does.
Busy eating my morning cereal so kinda difficult to play, so I’m presently a reader. I’ll probably be a player afterwards. Tend to be more of a player than a reader, but it varies.
