Guild Halls why not? One of my favorite features in GW1
Party Finder for all your dungeon needs. I know the devs have already responded saying thakittens on its way.
Secure Trading Trading between players like we had in Guild Wars 1
Dueling just let the players kill each other with no drawbacks in towns. I know this feature would blow costume brawl out of the water.
Guild Versus Guild If you really want to break into ESL this NEEDS to happen.
New sPvP and tPvP modes that don’t require you to stand on one point all day. Do you remember how fun RA was back in the day? Like team death match would just be amazing to have by now.
Guild Alliances just think about how amazing this would be for you WvW community

That’s pretty much everything I can think of that would be “needed”. I could go on and on about the things I miss from GW1 that would be amazing with the GW2 setup.

How about a more detailed TP search function ?

I know a lot of people don’t want to hear this, but new spvp modes and gvg can’t happen (or will be very difficult to make work right) largely due to lack of healers, among other issues. You might be able to make a small 3v3 work, but any larger and it just becomes a “whole team focus 1 guy, then aoe his corpse so they can’t res him” affair. wvw works because there are so many people that resses can be instant. This is exactly the reason we have conquest, which in case you haven’t noticed tries its hardest to split your team up across 3 nodes. I suspect even a 3v3 deathmatch without respawns would also be “skirmishy” as people run around waiting for cooldowns then jump enemies doing burst damage, then run away when they get low.

That is what we’ve been asking since release, not sure why they focus on all that living story thing.

I think fractles were the answer to that although I would even leave PvP for once if FoW and UW showed their faces again.

I think the problem with introducing FoW and UW is mainly due in part to how human heavy the areas are. If the introduced those two zones, and dubbed them end-game zones, then they’re saying that all other racial lore is irrelevant. Mind you, that they haven’t done much of a good job at keep all the races in the limelight.

Still, adding those two zones in particular wouldn’t be the best option, but adding similar zones would be pretty neat.

Fractals are one Endgame PvE, and the only.
Honestly one endgame is not enough by today’s standards, most MMOs offer several places to go to.
GW1 itself had Tombs, Furnace, FoW, UW, DoA, Depths…

Plus those places were just all-times favourites, there is really no reason not to make them come back.

I don’t think we need an in-game LFG tool anymore. The website gw2lfg.com works very well and I doubt they can make the in-game tool better enough for them to warrant taking resources away from other, more-needed projects.

Alt-tabbing out or using the smart phone gw2lfg app works fine for now. I’d much rather see more endgame, hard-mode PVE content.

that’s the point. They are prioritizing their big plans and have no one devoted to common living updates. That 1-year update said they had 200 staff making the game. they couldn’t even spare 1 person for simple game-enhancing updates as have been suggested here? I’m sure adding a light/med/heavy search to the TP would take 1 person an hour to do. They just don’t consider it needed. Instead, they are spending all their time on things they can brag about in the news. and they are telling everyone they update so frequently. pft. even the word “update” has a different definition for them.
