Yeah sure
Or maybe it’s role as the primary gold sink in the game

How about a more detailed TP search function ?
The game has been out for a year… and we still can’t even do something as simple as search or sort by armor type – really now?

There are only two reasons I can think of that they haven’t done this glaringly obvious step:
1) They profit too much from accidental purchases
2) They aren’t smart enough to do it
With what I’ve seen this past year, I’m betting on #1

3. On the list of priorities none of the thing the op mention is on the top except LFG which is being worked on.
Guild halls is one of those things that were popular for like 3 month then rarely ever used in guild wars 1 aka not a priority.
Conquest: it the main mode for pvp, game wasn’t properly designed for deathmatch. Or any other mode without serious modificaitons to every skill.
This is an mmo forum, if someone isn’t whining chances are the game is dead.

Wth are you smoking man? There is nothing wrong with the skill sets. Hell we see it done on a large scale in WvW every day. Have two teams slaughter each other until one side is 100% dead. Seems legit to me.

guildhalls were extremely used in gw1 with my guild they held parties and meet up for events used everyday in my guild plus it was a place to hang out if you didnt want to do something.
I know a lot of people don’t want to hear this, but new spvp modes and gvg can’t happen (or will be very difficult to make work right) largely due to lack of healers, among other issues. You might be able to make a small 3v3 work, but any larger and it just becomes a “whole team focus 1 guy, then aoe his corpse so they can’t res him” affair. wvw works because there are so many people that resses can be instant. This is exactly the reason we have conquest, which in case you haven’t noticed tries its hardest to split your team up across 3 nodes. I suspect even a 3v3 deathmatch without respawns would also be “skirmishy” as people run around waiting for cooldowns then jump enemies doing burst damage, then run away when they get low.

Guild Halls why not? One of my favorite features in GW1
Party Finder for all your dungeon needs. I know the devs have already responded saying thakittens on its way.
Secure Trading Trading between players like we had in Guild Wars 1
Dueling just let the players kill each other with no drawbacks in towns. I know this feature would blow costume brawl out of the water.
Guild Versus Guild If you really want to break into ESL this NEEDS to happen.
New sPvP and tPvP modes that don’t require you to stand on one point all day. Do you remember how fun RA was back in the day? Like team death match would just be amazing to have by now.
Guild Alliances just think about how amazing this would be for you WvW communityThat’s pretty much everything I can think of that would be “needed”. I could go on and on about the things I miss from GW1 that would be amazing with the GW2 setup.
Add Endgame PvE (fow/uw etc) and you have the scheme.
That is what we’ve been asking since release, not sure why they focus on all that living story thing.
We still need raid style grouping for large groups.
Miranda Zero – Ele / Twitch Zero – Mes / Chargrin Soulboom – Engi
Aliera Zero – Guardian / Reaver Zero – Necro
The Suggestions forum is that-a way.
We still need raid style grouping for large groups.
Yes. I, too, am disturbed by the lack of zergs in this game.
@Red Falcon
I think fractles were the answer to that although I would even leave PvP for once if FoW and UW showed their faces again.

Yes, because as all of us know, every single ArenaNet staff member is working on the Living Story.

I think the problem with introducing FoW and UW is mainly due in part to how human heavy the areas are. If the introduced those two zones, and dubbed them end-game zones, then they’re saying that all other racial lore is irrelevant. Mind you, that they haven’t done much of a good job at keep all the races in the limelight.
Still, adding those two zones in particular wouldn’t be the best option, but adding similar zones would be pretty neat.

Fractals are one Endgame PvE, and the only.
Honestly one endgame is not enough by today’s standards, most MMOs offer several places to go to.
GW1 itself had Tombs, Furnace, FoW, UW, DoA, Depths…
Plus those places were just all-times favourites, there is really no reason not to make them come back.

Both 1 and 2 are true. How else could you explain waypoints? Anet creates an amazing, beautiful world and then creates a skip button for it. The skip button being the waypoints. It can only mean that they don’t think things through.
How about a special inventory slot that stays on the screen for easy access to minis/consumables?
I don’t think we need an in-game LFG tool anymore. The website gw2lfg.com works very well and I doubt they can make the in-game tool better enough for them to warrant taking resources away from other, more-needed projects.
Alt-tabbing out or using the smart phone gw2lfg app works fine for now. I’d much rather see more endgame, hard-mode PVE content.

Well darnit, there goes my suggestion for who to voice the next male in the Living Story to go up against Scarlet.

Better guild tools…like:

2. a way to tell when the last time a player was online AND representing your guild
3. Separate “invite” privileges and “Kick” privileges

that’s the point. They are prioritizing their big plans and have no one devoted to common living updates. That 1-year update said they had 200 staff making the game. they couldn’t even spare 1 person for simple game-enhancing updates as have been suggested here? I’m sure adding a light/med/heavy search to the TP would take 1 person an hour to do. They just don’t consider it needed. Instead, they are spending all their time on things they can brag about in the news. and they are telling everyone they update so frequently. pft. even the word “update” has a different definition for them.

Purchesable real estates in open world available for guilds to purchase and upgrade, lets call them guild halls. One of upgrades could be arena, so people could pratice, duel, and have fun there. I like your idea man.
In one year gw2 is missing on more stuff than games in pre alpha stage.

Players were scammed a lot if they were not careful.
At some point you couldn’t even participate in traiding because of super awesome inflation.

When it comes to two players trading the simple “fix” to the whole scamming problem is to just have a little warning box pop up that tells the player to READ the name of the item they are trading.
