I find it weird that the only weapons in-game that have to be EARNED is TM SAB and SAB was just a joke addition when it was released but honestly the only real hard thing to get (excluding dungeons tokens because face it, dungeons are super easy)

So what’s the deal here, if the horizontal progression in this game is cosmetic, why is everything either bought with gold or money, feels weird having nothing to work for in this game skill-wise. I think nexons influence is really damaging to this game honestly :/

I get this game needs to make money, but there needs to be an equal balance here, if everything is gem/gold then players just end up with nothing to do.

I agree =\…I wish there were weapon skins and armor skins/sets that you got by doing something in particular when it comes to some top of the line skins and precursors and such. But let’s face it, we’ve had this discussion a hundred times before and we know everyone hates that in order to acquire a weapon or piece of armor or a precursor they have to buy it with gold. Nobody actually plays a certain area in the game in hope to get a certain drop. If only if only. I’ve heard it has something to do with the economy but who knows.

Yeah, I’d like more solo options. When it comes to world events, everyone is getting the same thing, so the rewards have to be reduced, so most of the time its counter-productive to do them. It’s also weird that the 2 raid like content only rewards reskins of gold bought skins (crafting).

You’re forgetting the Mini Liadri. But your point still stands.

I don’t get why anet hasn’t figured this out yet. Fractal Skins are also one of them btw, but they are behind such an RNG-fest that it’s almost impossible to get the one you want unless you do fractals religiously.

I have that mini, but its not a skin, and minis serve no purpose ijn this game atm.

Lets give em purpose:

• Mini can take on combat role (provide one random boon?)
• Mini can expand inventory and backpack itself running after you (aw cute).
• Minis can be dropped in home instance, to give it some more life.

That would be problematic as the main source of minis are the Gemstore. Plus, RNG would kitten people off even more for minis like Tequatl, and on top of that, minis that are no longer available will create even more frustration.

At least the boon part. For the other two.. The third one is great, the second one I’m not sure.

Well it wouldn’t be problematic if each mini could be appointed any boon you like, and on a sufficient cooldown. It would just give a little extra awesomeness to the mini.
If you want some extra dmg in a dungeon, grab might, want to explore faster, grab swiftness etc.

What mini you pick would still be purely cosmetic.
