I’m still delayed in WvW when it’s only a 1v1, and by delayed I mean there’s a delay between the time I press a button and the time it takes for the skill to activate. Also, I can attack someone who is standing right infront of me and it just comes up with miss, miss, miss…

They fixed the culling, not the skill lag. Skill lag is a much more complicated problem per se, and factors into both your own connectivity speed and Anet’s servers.

Its your PC or internet.

I have Gtx 660 ti, i7 3.9 and 32 gb ram with 15 mbps wired internet.

Culling gone, I see everyone and skills work instantly with no lag at all.

I play on SF – I have had far less lag of any kind compared to pre-patch, but still more than I had 3 or 4 major builds ago.

Actually, this update requires a large amount of bandwidth on Anet’s side. Considering the skill lag isn’t sudden, it’s pretty safe to say that they have in fact upgraded their servers.

Whether or not they sufficiently did so is the real question. Also, your own internet causes part of it as well because the data needs to get to you in the first place.

Well, when I first got this game which was around launch date, I experienced no noticeable lag in zerg vs zerg battles. Back then the zergs were much larger too, but now, I’ve been having these problems (stated in the OP) ever since, maybe, 5weeks ago?

Culling is partially based on server limitations. Removing it requires extra bandwidth. I don’t think there was a sudden spike in skill lag. As a matter of fact, some people reported they had less.

culling was your current wvw video options set in stone at high resolution charecters and lowest player visible , they only added to see the names of the invisible ones

Isolation of issues. They fixed the culling by passing it off to the client to handle. Now they have to work on skills lagging (in most cases it’s server side). That will take a back-end solution and some work/money.

It’s def a lag situation coming from somewhere on Anet’s side. I’ve been playing since beta and have NEVER had lag before. Even on a simple map u can get lag, and it has been reported from hundreds of people all over. Including guildies with top of the line equipment. I’m sure Anet is aware of this.
