The monk outfit (350 gems) ….. why ? WHY?

LF first year anet team plx. At least those people had a brain and gave us what we want. Very disappointed! tsk tsk tsk…… seems copy and paste is even harder to do.

Oh well. Got the dragon skins. One never knows when having a particular skin is the final touch needed to finish a look.

Disappointing. Is this really the last day of sales? If so, this entire thing was just… sad. I mean, the event was pretty lackluster and the sales barely had anything worth going for. I expected to spend a lot of money on the sales, but it looks like I’m being told to save my money.

Whatever, if they don’t want my money then okay. Whoever was in charge of these sales really needs to actually play this game to figure out what players actually want because it feels like they’re incredibly out of touch with the player base to a scary extent.

Because of my total makeover kits of course. Yes. Of course I would’ve preferred the kits to be lot cheaper but it was acceptable.

I can only express my feelings through fire.

I was surprised they didn’t add new stuff like the data mined back pieces and the new hairstyles!

Well, I was hoping for a fetid sale, crushed hopes and massive disapointment. Was not let down. Keep it up, erm, down Anet!!

I didn’t expect one honestly, they have an expansion coming out, which means increased demand for slots, bag slots, bank tabs, etc.
That’s why this year so much was capped at a single item discounted instead of as many as you wanted.
Too much of a sale now would cannibalize sales from when HoT launches.

That is the logic I use with any skin on sale, you never know when you will need it so I picked it up. The pet rock I am generally meh about but it was so low I figured may as well.

Well, I was hoping for armor skins, and we finally got some, even if I might have preferred something different. The makeover kit was very welcome, so overall the weekend was ok in my book.

I like outfits but with the limit on my budget I have to go with char slots as my fav purchase. How many ways I love thee Sylvari.

It is a positive testament to the gw2 devs in making the most interesting character creation in any mmo I’ve played. Only Aion came in close 2nd but that game, tho pretty, was not pve friendly. Very best char creation award goes to Dragon’s Dogma Dark Arisen console (non-multiplayer but with online player trading and char swap).

Disappointed not by a lack of things they could have brought back but the lack of new things.

No bunny ears. Meh. Would’ve bought it for 2k gems.

I hope the sales over, the gold to gem price is just stupid…

Well, I made certain I specifically bought gems with gold today. Why since it is at an inflated price? To deny anet the money. I also bought precisely enough gems I needed so they would not gain any interest from my money sitting in their bank account if they do get money from gold.

My hopes… crushed. I wanted character slots. It was the only thing I wanted from these sales and frankly, I expected it to happen. I shouldn’t have done that.

Mad King outfit always returns in Oct., along with Witch outfit and other assorted Halloween-themed pieces.
