So…what are you spending laurels on? Im slowly playing again, I have 91 laurels. I have all other ascended slots filled already and on my other toons.

-I dont feel like blowing 50 ectos on the accessories
-Receiving two or three T6 mats…eh…is that worth it?
-I have stock piles of WvW blueprints
-Mini pets do not interest me much

Is it possible to get rare dyes from the 10 unID pack?

Just not sure its worth the hassle of completing dailys anymore. There is nothing I want or need. I wish there were some skins I could purchase. We need a lot of skins to be pumped into the game all at once so that not everyone looks the same. Tons of people with dragon wings. More people every day with Zenith skins.

You can get rare dyes, the unidentified dies you get from the Laurels are the same as the ones you get from drops. The tonic might be up your alley, I don’t know your opinion of those. If you’re looking to gear up alts you could go with the gear boxes, or you could get infusions for the ascended gear you already have.

Guildmates have confirmed a celestial dye in the laurel unID dye pack. Buy at your own risk as it is entirely possible to get nothing good. However you do have a chance at any of the rare dyes.

Personally I’m saving them and only using laurels on the characters I take into WvW or fractals. Our guild changed servers and lost all upgrades so at 22guild commendations I will be waiting for the ascended earrings for a while. Don’t waste your ecto on those unless you are swimming in stacks of them.

Yeah, I have about 25 or 30 AR on the character I run fractals with…lvl 25-30 is about as far as I want to go. Beyond thakittens sort of pointless… just a skill challenge which is cool, but not worth the frustration

Tonics are pointless to me.

I have no guild, unfortunately. The one I am in/was in, is dead. No one plays.

Maybe I’ll just stockpile them for when they add more crap to purchase. Like Skins! So baffled why they didnt put skins in there. And it annoys me that the game has shifted from a cosmetic grind to an item/reward grind.

amulets for alts as this is the only way to get ascended ones -_-

Nothing, I’ll save them for when A.Net releases new legendaries and turn them into t6 materials.

I’ve used them to gear alts (I have 3 lvl 80 characters). That didn’t take too many though (since I had all my rings from running fotm endlessly). Since then, I’ve used them to buy T6 crafting materials. You always get three, and given the prices on them (currently lowest one is 10s, I believe, highest up near 31s) I generally make 50s or so on average per laurel. Compare this to Unidentified Dyes, worth about 17s 50c each, where you get around 35s per laurel (more, I suppose, if you’re lucky and get an Abyss or something when you open).

It has certainly made my grind towards Gift of Fortune a lot cheaper. If you don’t care about Tonics or Minipets, it’s a decent way to make money.

After getting all the ascended I needed, I bought the Cat Tonic. Now I’m ploughing them into T6 mats for my next legendary and to help guildies with theirs

Personally, I started out getting the Unidentified Dye package every once in a while.

However, I quickly did some calculations to find that I would get more Dyes if I used my Laurels on Heavy Crafting Bag, sold the contents and bought Unidentified Dyes on the TP.

Though my reason for this is that I am using a mixed set of trinkets (Knight with Ruby jewels), so getting Ascended stuff would either lower my crit damage% significantly or I would have to get a whole new set of armors (Knight instead of Berserker), which wouldn’t be so bad but I would also need a set of Transmutation Crystals for the looks.

T6 mats. Its an avarage of 50 silver per laurel. So 91 laurels would get you round 45 gold
