Light armor pants for females
I saw that set, but it has the skirt thing going.
You can try Profane armor skin. It’s a bit more revealing than standart pants and inspired by some GW1 necro armor :P

Sadly, the Embroidered Pants (I’m guessing those were the “harem parts” you mentioned) are pretty much the closest thing we get to actual pants with the least amount of skirt/frills. The Profane Pants could count, but I consider them closer to shorts and thigh-highs rather than actual pants. And they don’t match well with most other skins outside of the set.
Same with heavy armor except for the pants the Lionguard use and the Aetherblade heavy pants(For females anyway, except asura). Medium armor gets a lot of great pants, but it’s usually covered up by all the longcoats.
I feel like all the armor types need a little more variety. I mean, they’re good, but we need just a little more varieties.

Everyone has complained about the pants for a long time now… Nothing ever happens. Every kitten new armor introduced is skirts. They could just tune some of the medium armor and town clothes – which is lighter than some light armor – and introduce new sets, but no. They dont.
Well, that’s disappointing. I was hoping to give my mesmer a real duelist look but it doesn’t seem possible. Don’t get me wrong, I do like most of the armor (NOT the lvl 80 crafted though, bleh, it would’ve been better as a full gown) but I do wish they’d open up more options for female characters. It doesn’t even have to be new models, just give us a choice to use the male armor models or something.
Overall minor complain…thank god it’s not like it is in Tera.
Tera? Ooooh, I’ve seen a bit of that. Eeeek.

Yeah…I know. I think this game does pretty well with armors but they can do so much more…
They really REALLY need variety in their armor skins. For a game that was touted as cosmetic armor as the endgame, it is sorely disappointing to see a complete lack of sets centered around pants for both light and medium armor.
I really hope we can start seeing sets similar to the OP’s screenshot. Simple, yet interesting, fitting a theme.

This is definitely one of those things where GW1 did it better. Just between Mesmer and Monk there are 25+(didn’t count some of the slightly shorter ones for monk) pants!
Aside from the lack of pants. GW2 has too many “I can’t decide if these should be pants or skirts so lets just go with half and half”.
Gosh I’d love more choices in armours, especially since I’m asura/charr.
Medium armor gets a lot of great pants, but it’s usually covered up by all the longcoats.
This so much.
I love the look of my medium armour type characters, really do. And I’m not one of the longcoat-haters here. I love the coats. But between coats and boots, you can rarely ever see the pants at all.
I wish there were some medium coat options that were more open in the front (or closed higher up) to show off some of that pantage.
(Also more light armour trousers, more skirts AND non-skirts options on all armour types for both genders. Thanks!)

Could be that they have trouble coming up with armor that blend well in the waist area, and the “skirts” are there to cover that up.
