I’m pretty sure we can all agree that a skritt is an obvious choice.
It may sound odd, but I’d rather we not get too fantastical with it. Trained birds and small griffons are one thing, but no candy corn elementals or the like, please. Some things just shouldn’t be delivering the mail, no matter how cute it would be.

That is the nice thing in Guild Wars 2, you can costumize more and more.
I love Griffons anyway, but what i really long for now is a Squirrel who brings my Mails… one? no, a bunch of them.
A Rockfur Raccon would be nice too, with a Squirrel riding it :P

They implemented mail carriers? I should have known that was going to the top of the priority list based on ANet’s eager excitement. It is something that barely exists on the screen for more than a few seconds if that. While I get fluff works for many players, many other players would like some practical changes implemented or at the very least not snubbed.
If I had to make a request for a mail carrier in the future it would be for some kind of dog or puppy. My own dog helps carry in the groceries every time. Would be cute to see something like it in game.

To be fair, it was released with a rather large re-working of PvP Arenas. Pretty sure players have been saying, ‘Nothing ever released for PvP/WvW..it’s always PvE’. Geez, why does one thing get singled out to the exclusion of all else?

It still bugs me that this is something that gets worked on, when there’s still issues that’ve been drawing complaints since (at least) launch, and get responded to with ‘the engineering team is on higher-priority projects.’ Interesting priorities.

Because the developers who build content like this do not have the skillset to fix WvW and sPvP. “A Developer” is not a resource which can be tasked to perform any activity. While it might require hours of reflection and thought, I’m sure you can come to an understanding of this simple truth.
As far as mail carriers, there’s only one I want.

You know what the main focus of this patch was? Not gem store items. Not even Living Story (although that was a large focus). It was PvP overhauls.

Well to be fair, this is a really small addition which is universal for every player and doesn’t require much work.

As much as I like the griffon, I also recognize that its just another gemshop category now.
Well you could still grind gold… although the inflation rate… man that inflation rate. Still I think ANet needs to balance things out a bit more. You know for every gemstore item add a item available in game? Or even better 2:1!
