Lol it does look like Pac Man. I’m surprised Human is the most popular. I remember a looong time ago people begging for Charr to be a playable race.

Which is slightly ironic as Pac Man was designed with female gamers in mind. I read somewhere a long time ago that the designer thought about what women would like and came up with food! So he came up with pizza and cakes.

Being a woman myself and reading that article it really felt like mars vs venus once again .

Yea, that’s surprising to me too. I think we need to wait for more people to fill out the form… the sample size is still pretty small.

I suggest posting this in both sPvP and WvWvW forums, so you get a wider range of players.

The only real surprise is the player genders. Are there really so few females playing this game? Maybe they just didn’t want to specify their gender, or maybe they just tend not to visit the forums.

I’ve no idea, but it does seem odd. I meet a lot of other girls in-game.

Fun Fact: According to the current data, most females play Elementalists (25%) and Engineers (25%). Though that’s probably inaccurate due to the fact that we have such a small sample size.

Human warrior female is my main. Though I am playing A LOT on my charr elementalist as of late.

It lacks the option for people like me who have equal characters.

Also for being a Female IR I thought there be more female playing this game instead of male.. there was like 100 and some that said they were Male in IR compared to like 40 ha ha.. Haha, I know they’re out there, it’s just that nobody answered that yet. xD

Someone completely screwed up the data by entering “Female Female Charr Warrior WvW” like 10 times… trying to fix it. -.-

I can’t participate in your poll yet because I don’t have a “main” or favorite yet. :-)

I created all eight professions utilizing at least one of each race so that I would have an idea of what I liked and disliked by the time they reached level 80.
They are all between level 50 & 60 and I still don’t have a “favorite” because each race/profession has likes and dislikes. For example: I enjoy playing the Asura race, but don’t like how they look in armor.
For armor looks, I prefer the human race.
I like the female charr but most armors cover up the unique fur colors and designs I have applied to them and don’t like how they run on all fours.
It may just be me, but my big Norn just can’t seem to do jumping puzzles as easily as my little Asura

I would say that only a small percentage of players actually participate in forums. If they have time to play the game, they will be playing the game. If they run into a problem or are researching for hints and such, then most will go to the forums for additional information or resources.

Does anyone know how to permanently delete bogus data from a Google Docs spreadsheet? Someone entered the same thing 20+ times and screwed everything up. -.-

Never thought that I’d say this but I can’t participate in this poll. In over 15 years of MMOs I have never not had a main but in GW I find that just so happens to be the case. I play all 5 of my characters about evenly and I choose based on my preference at the time. I really can’t decide on a main. Is that wrong of me?

I’m really surprised to see Mesmer class is becoming a lot popular now. Even more popular than rangers. Although I haven’t seen too many mesmers running around.
I play a mesmer as my main, and I play this class pretty much exclusively. I’d say I’m pretty glad that more people are playing mesmer as their main !=)
I do hope to see more people participate in this poll!

Unfortunately, someone keeps spamming the survey with bogus results, and it can’t be fixed. I’ll be deleting the survey and I’ll post the results minus the bogus results soon.

Sad that this gets trolled by 5 year olds, but what will you do? Some parents WANT their children to grow up as giant kittens.
