What’s happening on the 18th?

Epilogue to the Living story Battle of LA plus x other stuff in the patch (presuming bug fixes / class fixes.).

First, this is not going to be the big feature patch, as has been stated multiple times by devs already. Glory is going to be removed and the first living story arc is concluded.

Its going to be my birthday :P

Oh and some ending to the living story I suppose

Seriously this game needs a blood infusion; if you don’t care about the LS farming events there is basically nothing new to do.

Many MMOs made most of their old content redundant by putting ‘better’ zones into new expansions to boost sales. By better I mean more xp, better loot, easier to access, etc so even if you wanted to go to the old zone nobody else would go with you. Raising the level cap also killed all the old game end zones and raids. In fact there wasn’t much more playable content after the expansion than before buying the expansion.

Wow I wonder if this is the first MMO in history that will actually have LESS content after a major patch instead of more…

the 18th isnt a major patch… just “maintenance”…

18th is supposed to be the official ending with content being introduced to close this chapter and perhaps promote a new.

On the other hand, it is a bit exciting. Not only to see a clear ending but also the information Anet promised to give out with the end of GW2, introducing a game status with more info about the feature patches and also about what is to await after that.

Well, we already have information of what Anet is working on as a whole. Hopefully, this will be more specific info that will answer some questions.

It’s only a maintenance patch. I don’t know why that could be considered a death blow to GW2. We’ve had times with no patches at all, and the servers are still up…….

What’s happening on the 18th? Probably an “update” that will be 75% gem store additions.

A bunch of vendors disappear and a bunch of people come on to complain they still have old currency.
