Hi.
So… What about city mini-games, which, as I recall, promised nearly thirty? In addition, the developers have promised rewards such as town clothing items. Are there any work in this direction? In my opinion it would be a very smart move to add them now.

Without these things extremely picturesque towns are idle, which kills a fair share of gaming potential. I already asked about such things before. I would like to find out from the developers about their plans.

They’re too busy adding in temporary events that nobody cares about or particularly likes. Don’t expect them to devote time and resources to add these mini games any time soon, they are opposed to doing what their customers like.

Never mind the fact that the most recent update INCLUDED a mini game.

Thank you for your very helpful contribution to this thread.

Maybe if we kept the discussion constructive instead of just venting and complaining, we could actually get ANet to respond to the OPs questions. That would be super-lovely.

Probably isn’t going to happen in another frustrating QQ-fest of a thread, though. Think about it! Thank you

What do you want Anet to say exactly? Here is what they’ll say if they post here.

“We are thankful for your input, and would like you to know that mini-games are on our radar.”

AKA: Never gonna happen cause they’re gonna lose players once TES:O comes out, and focus on gem store stuff or more worthless living story stuff in order to keep making money.

Was a good dream though when the game launched. Tons of mini games would have been great.

I thought ArenaNet had proven they put players above profits. Remember when they stopped selling digital copies until until the lag issues got sorted out. If your gonna attack a companies actions get your facts right eh.

Exactly. Nice to see people are finally starting to wake up to what I and others like me have been saying. Lack of fulfillment of their promises. It’s been months now. And if people are still talking about the crabtoss guess what that’s going the way of the dodo bird most likely.

You know I remember being able to do everything in other games in the open world like building ships and houses with materials I’d gathered, fishing for gear and crafting materials, archeology, and actually getting rewarded for finding those chests in secret locations across the world. All this time waiting have to ask yourself, why does Anet hate us filthy casuals so much?

I decided to try out the keg toss today. I practiced with the Norn npc’s for awhile and then entered the game. Once inside, I found my team standing in a circle with the other team passing it along. The were just achievement farming. Ive heard that it is already rampant in the crab toss too. Anet, if you do add more mini games, please dont tie them to achievement points.

Oh my god no, they have proven time and time again they put profit above anything , it’s really not even close. I wish I had your attitude though. If it wasn’t true we could buy the skins we wanted, bugs would have been fixed months ago, and LS would be a permanent update.
