Guild Wars 2

A ranger should be able to tame more pets. I think that there should be more underwater pets. There is the dolphin, barracuda, manta ray, spike tail fish and ice shark already in the game. It shouldn’t be that hard to make versions that a ranger could tame. I would also like to be able to tame a minotaur, griffon, wasp, wind rider, raptor, skale/shelk, wurm, crab and bat. There are risen apes, but I have not seen regular apes and an ape would be a cool pet for a ranger.

Okay I’d love a pet dolphin. And a ray. Especially a ray.

Griffon, wasp, mosquitoes, fireflies, minoutar, moose, doe, Treant. All this mobs- skins already in game.

I want Melee Spiders!

Desert Spiders (the icon exists, but is used for cave spider), they have nasty pincer like chelicerae (where spiders fangs are), 2 of them, which are used to chew bits off the prey. The existing Desert/Canyon spiders appear like them. Solifugae

and Red-kneed Tarantula (active ability could be “prickly hair cloud”, which is a defensive measure Tarantulas use, by scraping hair off their backs, which then fall on the predator, has tendency of hitting pores on skin, causing irritation) Red-kneed Tarantula

I did very loose research, so it’s not accurate tho.

Hopefully some sylvari pets too, but I think those appear once we get to a friendly/neutral tree, that is not affected by Mordremoth or Nightmare Court…

Maybe Fern Raptors or even Fern Snakes!

IF they were to give us tigers as pets it wouldn’t be until they opened up Cantha. In GW we didn’t get tigers until Factions so it stands to reason would be same in GW2.

New pets I want:

- Ruminant Family: Deer, Llama, Moose and Marmox.
- Griffon Family: Eagle Griffon, Owl Griffon, Hawk Griffon.
- Fish Family: Dolphin (yes, I know it’s not actually a fish), Electric Fish
- Crab (remember the Crab pets from GW1?)
- Phoenix/Rainbow Phoenix

I’d like to see:

• Griffons
• bats or big birds (bigger than our current ones – the’re just kinda boring)a Poenix perhaps…
• Dolphins
• Raptors

+1 for griffon, or maybe a colocal!

Yeah, I also want a Griffon.
The code is even partially there, in a step of the Lost Heirloom Norn Personal Story you use a pet griffon.

You also had this island that you could roam around and see all the pets you collected, including the babies. Awww… mind blown?

Monkey pet. F2 will throw down banana peels to make people/mobs slip on it.

Boa Constrictor – F2 will strangulate its target and squeeze life out and call it “Eye Popper”

Would love Skale/Skelk.
Raptors and Griffons would be obvious choices as well.

You could only see the pets that you had unlocked by “taming” them in the world first in your Pet Farm. Also, some of the pets being asked for are pets that were introduced in Factions(Cantha) and Nightfall(Elona). Perhaps when A-Net allows us to go to those areas they will also add those pets.

I wouldn’t mind having access to a Gryphon pet, but my biggest preference in regards to ranger pets would be an option to not have a pet at all.

More pets… even Dust Mite pets! heck a Mordrem Hound would be great as well.

I want my girl who has the smallest asura ranger I have seen, to be able to ride her pets, would be so cool !

Give us " Elite" pets… non juvenile pets that require charm

Hire some people to fix the AI before adding new pets.

I like the idea of more pets and also rare pets.

I would like to see rare pets skins that aare obtainable, these pets would have long spawn timers and multiple spawn locations. perhaps like a branded rockdog, white tiger, etc… a pet that makes you stand out. It wouldn’t be stronger than other pets just harder to obtain/track down.

Perhaps they could spend some time on rare pets and have tracking quests or the ability to find clues like footprints etc to help you find them.

I’d like a shady animal dealer on some island or coastal area. One that would sell me a tiger cub for a lot of gold.

A Cub I would have to level up from level 2 like GW, and evolve, like GW.

Then, when I had a level 80 Tiger, people would say. “Wow. That’s a level 80 Tiger”
And I’d say. “Level 80 DIRE Tiger”
