I have 932 hours across all my characters and I have never seen over 30 gold at one time in my bags… I suck.

With all the ecto, onyx lodestone and TA token I can craft into Nightmare Coil, I have well over 1500g

OP may also have left his client open or in the background while afk or doing other things, checking in only for chest spawns etc. so it might be bloated.

I prolly got hundreds of hours from afk/just checking in for a chest spawn myself lol.

there was a thing where people would join big guilds, spend a week with them, gain the trust, empty the guild bank and then leave. :/
That’s also an incredible amount of karma you got there. Have you thought of going to orr and gambling it away on orrian boxes? They make karma to money conversion really easy.

I saved up in case I found a recipe for them which I did. At 1 point I was at 12,000 TA token b4 I craft them into rings.

you should go to orr though, easy way to get rid of extra karma and get some lodestones, cores and all the other things
I don’t have much right now, most I ever saved up was about 260G that I spent on my ele’s tier 3. Now I’m doing all I can to get fast money in order to buy the special dyes that won’t be around for forever and to equip my characters with them. That mostly means that now I run CoE a lot and run any zone from level 60 to 80 for exotic rewards.

If you made all of those into rings, that’s about 200 more gold. With that, lodestones, ecto, and dyes that puts you at about 1600ish. Not counting anything else not shown in the screenshot.

According to what other mats you have, you should still have several hundred left after you craft Twilight. So yeah, you could prolly make Eternity without much more effort.

I don’t even have that many varieties of dyes across all my 6 characters
The most I have unlocked is maybe 40 on one character and alot of repeats.

1/ 1700 hours over 7 months is 8 hours a day. That’s quite a lot and physically impossible for most people. Either you don’t sleep, don’t work or have an awesome job that involves GW2. That, or you invented a time machine? Can I has it?

2/ That looks more like over 2000g in your bank if I can guesstimate right.

This guy made over 1000g and ppl with 15g tells him where to farm very amusing….Anyway impressive OP are TA runs good for gold or you just like TA?

At first I was farming TA solely for onyx. then I found out i can make 8g+ running all path with the recipe so why not. By the time I farmed enough core/lodestone Ihave alot of token saved up.

in guild wars 1, 1000 gold would be 1 platinum bar

and im sure i heard something about minister caudecus using platinum as a currency somewhere in the storyline

61s per hour isn’t that good really, a lot of people can earn 2-3g per hour and some wiz kids, 5-10g per hour…

But still 1000g deserves a well done…

Not really accurate. I see other things that could be sold for profit (like those dyes you should give me) or used to obtain more gold along with a lot of other slots unseen. Then there’s the fact the value of gold has decreased so 61s 5 months ago would be worth alot more than 61s now.

Your computation doesn’t take in account all he already spent in the past. Here, the “feat” is not to have earned 1000g from the beginning of the game, but rather to have gathered 1000g at a precise moment on the account. For instance, my bank account at the moment is much lower than 1000g, though I’m quite sure that I earned much more gold than that playing all the facets of the game, given that my average is between 1.5g and 2g per hour and I have 1500 hours of game.

jeesus, i have been playing on and off since launch and the most i can muster is the 120g required for the T3 Armour for my little asura, How in the name that is all holy did you get all that including mats. I have had 3 level 80 toons that have all completed the game and yet only 120g.

i must be doing something wrong.

Nah buddy. I dont play TP wars. I play WvW (95%) and open world (5%) and just use 20 min a day for the TP. If even.

I play this game way more than anybody that spends 6 hours a day repeating the same dungeons and fractals every day.

I generally don’t like to tell people my wealth, especially in forums, just because it’s like putting yourself as a target to be hacked.
