I am a very pronoun PvP player and I just leveled my thief to level 80, but I have access to no traits. What happened? Why am I unable to WvW or do anything when i’m level 80 now because I decided to levle my thief to 80 using the pvp tomes given to me.

I am not new to PvE. Is this a bug?

This is from the update last April. Go to any of the traits and hover the cursor over the looking glass symbol. It’ll show you what you need to do to unlock them. You can also buy them as well from the same NPC’s that used to sell the three trait books when you reached various levels.

back with April’s feature patch they changed how you unlock traits. Instead of the classic way of buying a Adept, Master, and Grandmaster tome to unlock that given trait level, now you must go and do various open world accomplishments to unlock each individual trait.

If you open your trait panel you can click on the given trait and you should get a description of what’s required to unlock that given trait.

Alternatively you can go to the trainer who used to sell the training manuals and pay some gold and skill points to unlock individual traits.

What does it mean to be a pronoun PvP player? Do you fight he’s against they’s, it’s against we’s, or she’s against you’s? Sounds interesting. I would like to know more.

Ayrilana is correct.
Unlocking Traits, Skills, and getting new stat combination is part of PvE progression since making a build consist of these 3 elements.

I think WvW should be like PvP though… Have everything unlocked besides the WvW Specific Skills. WvW Ranks and specific skills should be the only real progression for WvW but unfortunately it’s not. =(
