My characters still does not have feet?
Well, apparently they are the declining species. They’re just going feet first!
Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?
I must agree here; was it intended to cut of the toons feet? When working on my toons costumes its really hard to get an idea how the costume looks when I can’t see my feet. Dyes are also affected by this problem. Lately when looking at dye for my boots and have to look at my toon in main game then get back to the dye screen etc… its a bit annoying.
P.S the changes so far for the NPE are perfect for me!
The problem is that the camera is now centered differently on the character model, with the result that taller characters can no longer see their feet. I have a mule who’s basically the shortest male Human model possible, and I can see his feet just fine.
I agree it’s extremely annoying (I have a max height Charr, and several of my other characters are also near max height), but on the list of bugs to fix, it’s probably a lower priority one.
Shouldn’t be a hard fix. Anet?
How many patches till you adjust a camera? LOL
All kidding aside this never should has passed quality control. Sloppy programming, or lack of professionalism to fix it after first patch.
I just posted about this in the bug forum. I find this pretty horrifying when I am looking at my character in the hero panel.
This is from people complaining about Queen Jennah being barefoot, right?
Because right now the priority is getting the NPE in order for, if reddit diving is right, there is a free trial at the end of the month to pull in new players. Assuming you’ve and others have bugged it rather than just post about it will be scheduled to be fixed at some point.

I was crying about my character having no shoes, . . . until I read about this character that has no feet.
Fire Emblem disease is spreading.
What was the change which caused this? My char is also a big left (her right side), or she leans. Too many patches and not fixed.
Previously, this was not a problem. I could make dye, equipment, outfit and wardrobe changes and see the full model of my characters in the Hero panel (except my Charr – which was cut off from left to right from the very beginning, which I figured to be a price to be paid for having a Charr character; also, I could rotate the view from left to right to see what was cut off).
Now, all my characters are cut off at the ankle or higher in the Hero Panel – even my Asuran character (you know, the race that enjoys a superior center of gravity [at least from the Asuran viewpoint, other races may find Asurans to be vertically challenged]).
I do not understand how NOT being able to see all of my character when applying dye, equipment, outfit, and wardrobe changes is helping me.
This feature did not seem to be broken until after an update “fixed” it.
Please, return to the previous view when people had a full view from top to bottom of their characters in the Hero panel.
Maybe they ran off with my running animation?
The zoom in preview and hero menu are all messed up, I can only assume they haven’t fixed this yet because they’re not sure what it is about the new finisher/mini preview that’s messing up previously working features.
Which every programmer can relate to.
(except my Charr – which was cut off from left to right from the very beginning, which I figured to be a price to be paid for having a Charr character; also, I could rotate the view from left to right to see what was cut off).
That’s either a resolution issue, or a personal bug, because I’ve always been able to see my entire Charr characters in my Hero panel. :-| Might wanna submit a ticket about that.

I have the same problem with my main character but not with the another ones.
I hope they fix it asap…
I’m wondering about this too. Can’t be intended.

And bingo! That is what you do for maximum visibility and for the greatest likelihood that the issue will be noted and resolved. Better still, look for and post in an existing thread, but make a new thread if you don’t find one already in the Bug Forum.
Thank you.

There are already a bunch of thread like this in the bug forum, I even created one myself…

And there might be more, because after I found mine at page 25 I stopped looking…
People have been reporting this bug since 9/9…
To clarify, I’m not being confrontational here, I’m just pointing out that probably a lot of people post in this particular subforum because it feels like this is the one where our feedback is more likely to be heard.
I understand that keeping track of all the treads posted on the forums in hard and time consuming, so I’m asking you what can we (the players) do on our end to give our bug reports more visibility?
Should we regularly bump them (but if everyone bumps, then stuff ends up out of the first page even more quickly)?
I got infracted for bumping my own topic once, so no don’t do that.
@Maxwell – That’s… kind of ridiculous.

People HAVE done that. Numerous times. People have also reported the bug in game using the report feature, but even that tells you that you might not get any confirmation about whether its being looked at.
This goes back to the other thing i stated in another tread about how people react when they feel like they are not being heard.

OK, so honest question: has there been any response on any of the OTHER threads about this issue?
