NPC Armors
Rooba: looks like monk attire, which I have always liked.
Yarr! I be keeping me pirate runes, Matey. Yarr! You’re welcome. Yarr!
It’s a NPC from Guild Wars 1 instead of 2, but I always wanted to be able to have a character that had armor like Saidra.
I’ve been dying for the norn shaman outfits since launch…. anet, come on, people would chuck money at you for these. I miss ‘cultural’ stuff, seems it got scrapped. Well, unless you’re human. :p
“Walk with the pack. In the eyes of Wolf, we are all brothers and sisters.”
I think I have made a thread about this last year, still fully support the idea. Here are all the “cultural town clothes” NPCs are wearing and aren’t available for us, players.
It would be nice if we could buy them for gold in game to enhance our cultural looks some more.
Norn shaman have amazing outfits. Please ANet… we want these outfits!
Yes, please! I love the norn shamon armor other some of the other culture armors for norns. and the slyvari npcs aren’t bad either I love the plant/flower armors we have now, but a little more selection would be nice.
Its from GW, but I’d like to see this in GW2. Aziure:

I would definitely love to see these outfits available for us. If not exactly them, them something along those lines.
Maybe introduce small side quests (for each race) to acquire them. Much like you could for this…

However, to play Devil’s Advocate on the subject… the above suggestion goes against the general idea of ‘everything being all inclusive’ (Cultural Armors not withstanding since, you know, people tend to flip out needlessly when you even look at those wrong…)
The Bandana was something that everyone of every race could get. Would we really want every race to be able to get clothes and outfits that were designed for other races? Would it even make sense?
A Norn walking around in a Charr outfit?
A Charr in an Asura outfit?
A Human in Sylvari leaves?
From the way some people screamed and started foaming at the mouth over the original Flamekissed light armor, I doubt very much we’ll ever see that sort of thing again…
… The human race would never have to worry about be oppressed again.”
I think trolls should have their computers smashed. ’Its all part of the game. U mad bro?’
Would love to see all those available.

My tailpipe bandanas were all lost during the Wardrobe transition

Did you talk to the Black Lion Trader (Armorsmith)? You should still have the skin for it if you had the Bandana.

Oh yes, first thing I did when the patch went live. The consensus amongst the other affected players is that having it equipped meant that the slot was removed when the patch hit, which means that you no longer “had it” and thus the skin was not unlocked.
I read this as “Tailpipe Banana” then started humming the Beverly Hills Cop theme.

A Human in Sylvari leaves?
Specifically regarding this one…right now Sylvari have such limited selection that they’re usually wearing Human clothes. Why not the other way around? Plus, non-Sylvari already have access to one set of leafy clothes (Twilight Arbor set).

I lost my devil horns the same way I really liked those horns.
And to add the more choices of weapons and armor the better. I would love to see cultural armor types that are part of some kind of event chain.

Good heavens.
I hope you put a tickets in to Support for that.
No sarcasm meant there… If you had those items and they were lost in the transition to the new Wardrobe system then you definitely deserved them back.

I didn’t put in a ticket for mine because I knew I can go get another one, I just haven’t done it yet. It’s one of those “when I see these threads on the forums I remember that I need to go do that, but by the time I log in I’ve completely forgotten about it” things.
