Does this mean that gemstore updates will be delayed as well?

Next update will be the 17th, just enough 2 weeks inbetween to have the following “build” on the 31st, which will trigger SAB on the 1st of April.

Are you able to tell us when to start expecting blog posts outlining more HoT stuff? Exact dates aren’t needed but something like “Not this week” or “In the next couple weeks” etc.

I wasn’t starting a rumor I just know this forum all too well.

Assuming this patch is delayed by one week, and then the two week patch intervals will resume, this will place the patch after next on March 31st. The next day will be April 1st, April Fools Day.

Due to the point of this thread.
Sometime things don’t go as planned and thus things might have to get pulled from the patch.

So you got us all excited for the new camera and then decided to pin on the stability changes. If the camera isn’t what needs QA Im sure 99.999% of the community would rather you separate the changes…

What happened? Is the stability change throwing all balance out of whack like many have speculated? When you do the stability change I look forward to seeing how broken WvW is, lol. It is going to be insane, and the vast majority will not be happy once the initial humor runs out.

I like the idea of it, but it isn’t something I see a lot of clamoring for, it makes more sense to include it with HoT and beta test it instead of throwing it out there and seeing what chaos ensues.

People will love the camera changes however, release ASAP please!

Posts like these keep the devs as quiet as they are. Thankfully more players seem to be understanding. It’s software development: it happens, it’s fine. :} I’m disappointed but hopefully wed/thu of this week is a possibility despite ANet’s propensity to release on Tuesdays.

Are you at least going to update Gemstore? I’ve been waiting for new faces and hairs for so long now and I was thinking tomorrow would be perfect time for them to come out but now it’s been delayed. :/

I’m giving constructive criticism. How could it make anet keep quiet? They hyped the FoV so much, and then just postpone it. I said what i felt about it. No anet wont release a patch on any other day then tuesdays. I’ve been playing guild wars 2 for 2.7 years and they never released anything on wednesdays or thursdays.

Oh, disappointing news

This is wonderful news – I am so happy ANet is taking the time to further test their upcoming features/patches/updates instead of releasing it without further testing as bugs might still be scattering about within.

Keep up the wonderful work and as always, looking forward to these update(s)!

Probably due to the stability and pvp telport changes..

I’d rather they thoroughly test and make us wait a little while longer, than have a half kitten d job done and my camera suddenly locked in a cyclone whirl forever on patch day.

I am quite certain that it was released on April 15th, the day they always said it would be released.
But if they must follow their release schedule, they should release it in two weeks, since we had a patch two weeks ago. Otherwise it would kitten up the schedule, wouldn’kitten You say that they must release it on a Tuesday because they always do that (which is false) and yet they could easily release it on a week where there would be no patch?

Some of us feel that way, but honestly, if everyone would criticize them for giving info to hype and then postponed it, what Anet would do is to not give us more info to hype (as happened in the past). I don’t want that to happen because i’m more happy when I got some info (even if i don’t know where it will land) than having no info at all.

We had a rather large balance patch at the end of January. Don’t think we will get any big balancing changes this soon (or any time before the expansion for that matter).

Are we suddenly using a completely different definition of patch now? You claimed that they have never had any patches on other days than Tuesdays, with is clearly very false, seeing as multiple large updates have been released on other days.

And no, the event started on Friday, but the patch itself went live on Thursday on November 15th.

You keep claiming I am wrong, and yet you provide no proof that I am wrong, while I on the other hand have provided quite a bit of proof that I am indeed correct and your statements about only patches on Tuesdays is clearly wrong.

I hope for newsday tomorrow, coud you confirm this Gaile?
