What’s the deal with aftercasts in general? It’s a hidden stat that renders other stats (such as Activation speed) useless and makes it near impossible to meta?
ANet appears to think that detailed skill data leads to theorycrafting over player skill being the deciding factor. When the game launched there was not even anything resembling windup times on tooltips, only channel and recharge times.

This also disturbs me. It was considered a rumor months ago when we first heard about it but now I think it’s a reality I don’t think they have enough people allocated to this task and I definitely don’t think they have anyone playing the other classes so we see imbalance in PVE constantly that’s never fixed.
they need advocates for ranger, engineer, ele, condition damage builds, and pet builds because those are the least balanced classes and the least used builds right now in PVE.
Isn’t a pet build another way of saying ranger build? So you double-mentioned that one. I hardly ever see engineer’s in pve but I do see Ele’s so I think thats an exaggeration. Also what happened to mesmer in this lineup? We stink in pve where are aoe almost doesn’t exist compared to other classes. Mesmer would love to do condition builds, except confusion our only condition we are good at is better on an engi right now and sucks regardless in pve so I think it would be great to get a bone thrown here too. Also, I still don’t see the point behind the mantra buffs which have been virtually ignored by the community it seems as terrible. I also agree it seems obvious that whoever is doing balancing is selectively playing their favorite classes, Warrior being the obvious pick.
